First to vote for BG after his reveal and you've been arguing about narrowing the voting pool etc. In my personal experience, generally the people that argue about that are scum that are trying to look town.

 

you didnt think my arguments were valid then? and if something makes pretty clear sense, i dont see why i should be all er but ooh and wifom and meh ogaboga apathy. i dont see any point in not being passionate about something if i believe it is the case. and tbh if i was scum, at that point i would have wanted grins to live. and would have found a way to ensure that happened.

Ok, I've not been around so much. I work weekends and then my main computer crashed Saturday night. I just got a backup running and tracked down my passwords today. Womby said I sounded sheepish. I assume this to mean you think I was following along with what others said? I stated before that I have difficulty with the early stages of play when there is little to go off and the tiniest thing is considered reason for lynching. There were some posts that made some sense to me so I agreed with them. BG's claim is not totally believable to me. I think I've been consistent on this. Maw has vouched for him and everyone has decide to back off him because of that. I can understand that. There hasn't been anything to this point to indicate that Maw is mafia.

 

I would like to hear more from some of the others who have been less than active.(pot:kettle yeah)

first person to actually jump on Amega, even though Soy poked him over it. i find this type of pressure to be a bit much and it got overlooked in the heated convo which makes me wary.

 

 

It isn't really even a case, just doing as I said and "casting one out there". I may have a different hankering later but for now it's as good a vote as any.

I'm willing to lynch anyone. Would you like if I put my vote on someone else... it seems like you may be back dooring a defense of amega here. You don't seem to have a a problem with only 1 person voting him (pandy) but when a second person jumps on you all the sudden are suspicious...

uh....meta here....but i have recently thought joke votes irrelevant and a great tactic for scum to delay the beginning of day one. I just felt the need to say these thoughts again. I dont want anyone to think im trying to fly under the radar.

I assume he means that the longer people joke around and not do anything the more rushed people get to lynch someone, someone who is usually town.

i dislike how Ley chimes right in, but i've seen him do this in alot of games, making a note of it for now.

 

 

Placing a vote on someone is not necessarily a declaration of your desire to lynch said person. Votes are vanilla town's way of gathering info. Apply pressure see what happens.

I think I'm going to conclude that you weren't softclaiming at all since it doesn't make sense from any perspective I can think of

 

this post pings the most so far. first is the bolded, where you agree it was a soft claim, just as you pointed out. but then in the underlined you contradict that

if thats the logic you come two, why ask him if it was a soft claim. for that matter, what changed your mind because those posts were very close together.

 

 

I didn't see that as a vanilla softclaim... just as a statement. And even if it were, exposing it out in the open like that is a neutral move in my opinion.

 

Levity is the first to take a stance on Soy side on this and speak out againt is being a soft claim.

 

 

I will note that I'm wary to condemn Amega (and those who are after him right now) so early in the game

like I said in the dead thread for the Naruto game I think sometimes people take advantage of Amega's spelling/grammatical errors and make him out to seem more scummy than he really is

i do know that BG has claimed a role power from skimming and that another player (Turin i think) is backing him up on that claim, but i don't know enough yet to make a decision on if i think the claim is false like Levity and Meesh are touting.

 

 

i'll keep checking new posts in here as i'm catching up, and will throw my vote to get a majority if need be. i don't liek doing this, becuase i'm voting blind basically; but it's better than no lynch at all or a random.

Levi - you may have posted a reason for the vote later on, but the reason you gave when you voted was a joke reason which is what matters. the fact that it started an early wagon with a precieved joke reason is why it pings, and will continue to ping reguardless of what reason you come up for it.

Red, Maw was the one that backed up BG to be lightsworn according to his one-shot day viewing. I have been pretty consistent that I have my doubts about BG's claim. The person who seems to have backed him the most prior to Maw's claimed viewing has been Sakaea in my opinion. add in the smug response she gave right after the viewing seemed like she wanted to auto vet BG. Does anyone else feel that way?

If we're going to lynch someone to vet bg then it should be maw... I don't know if that's a good move though.

I didn't vote her yet. I was wondering if it read the same to others. I am trying to find something reasonable to vote on. If there are other like minded people then I would be willing to go there.

If it read as a bit smug, it's just because I was glad to have someone else hop in the conversation and say BG is what he says he is. Meesh and I were just messing with each other. If our messing around is the basis for y'all discussing lynching me, that's pretty weak sauce.

 

IMHO, lynching probable town (Maw) to vet probable town/finder (BG) is not a good game plan, and almost certainly just loses us another townie. If we go no lynch, and see what results BG gets in the morning, that should be more useful than anything else.

I don't trust BG, I can't. I wish I could, because that would make this a whole lot easier on me, but I can't.

 

I actually would be willing to put my vote on No Lynch to see if we can get more info before moving forward with a lynch; it seems a safe enough move to me. I also would be willing to lynch Maw, but I kind of believe him--my mistrust in BG is based on his actions in-game and the idea that he could have a godfather role, so lynching Maw wouldn't necessarily prove anything. I mean, it's possible he's scum too, but meh, I don't think so atm.

 

Anyway, as I've been saying since yesterDay, I'd really really really really rather lynch BG, because I think that would give us the most information and get this whole problem out of the way, one way or another, but again, no one's gonna agree with me so whatever.

 

I haven't said this bit yet, because I didn't (and still don't, really, but it's fun) think it was necessary, but I am registering an Official Gut Feeling that BG is scum. XD My gut-dar could very well be broken, and that's what I want to find out, but the only person it's ever truly gone wacky on was Lily, because it was right about her so many times that it got stuck in "she's scum" mode. I haven't had this much of a solid Gut-Ping since I last played with Lily, actually. So I want to see what comes of it.

 

Anyway, carry on. I'll be babysitting for a few hours; may be able to get online, may not, we'll see. Again, I'm willing to vote No Lynch as well.

I don´t like the No lynch. I rather lynch someone. We haven´t gotten a deadline yet so we don´t have to give up because there isn´t going to be a BG lynch. I will vote Ed. There is something about his posts...just a feeling. I would like to go through his posts again but I don´t have the time right now.
