if Min does in fact have a post restriction, especially one as...restrictive and dangerous as this appears to be, why is she posting?

Kivam seem to be popular. Min have a pr that tells her to vote Kivam and then there seem to be someone that can double the votes on his train too. (If Blackhoof just haven´t wrote the wrong number after his name.) It´s odd to see Boopsy vote for Kivam in this situation.

To be honest, I'm metagaming a bit.

 

He's just a very distracting player and tends to be a nightmare as scum. In this game it's fairly simple to me. I'm not sure how much the coroner can tell us, but to me it's about removing the most complicated players first. *shrugs* According to the game play, noone's alignements are fixed and everyone has a chance to live again. So I'd rather take a chance and believe Min than let Kivam drive us all around like he did in Carebears.

 

*shrugs* Like I said, I'm voting not because he's closest to a lynch, but because his playing makes me want to eat my brain. I think I'd like his voice turned blue for a bit, and whoever it is with the resurrecting power can bring him back if the coroner says he is town.

That is such a crap reason. If you're going to vote for someone, do it based on game events not because you're scared they're better at the game than you. That's almost as bad as Min's reason for voting him. If anything you should vote for Min who, if our suspicions are right, won't be much of a contribution to this game (either because she has a role that restricts her focus or because she is scum and playing at something). Since there are supposed to be ways to get info on death, I say lynch her and find out what's what. If she's scum then Kivam's probability of scuminess goes up in my opinion. If not then well at least we won't have that distraction anymore. And if she comes up town well then... there's only Min to blame for poor play. A lynch on Min is the best option for information in my opinion.

 

Also, seeing as how October the 7 is a Friday, I'm more inclined to believe the count of 4 on Kivam is a typo, from when Meesh and Nol were still on board.

Personally, I don't think Min is stupid enough to just point at anyone and say he is scum with a reasoning like "I know he is scum because he doesn't play like this in other games" AND BE SO ADAMANT ABOUT IT. I believe it more to be a power than anything else. So you voting for her isn't exactly perfect reasoning either.

 

Secondly, you're saying the EXACT same thing about Min as I did about Kivam. So you seem to be reasoning the same way. Except this: If Kivam goes and is scum, we KNOW Min is town. And if Kivam is town, we can get Min to explain herself further and lynch her next. That way, she deserves it anyway. However, according to you, choosing Min instead is just about ignoring her play (tho strange, but potentially effective) and getting nothing out of it.

 

Thirdly, ignoring the possibility of a vote doubler as "typo"... I don't know, isn't that a bit self righteous. I admit, it COULD be a typo. what happens if we lynch Kivam? does it go away? does it switch to another player? perhaps it switches every day?

if we lynch Min would this restriction go away?

it's worth waiting just to see what happens I think

This is the one game where such a ploy may not be as big a risk since they can be brought back. It stands to reason that the mafia have someone who can resurrect people, since ghosts can be made mafia.

 

However, I do admit my "they're both mafia" theory is just a theory (though I like it ) and is based on purely on conjecture. I think the "Min has a role that makes her target one person" theory is much more likely, and feel it's an unnecessary distraction.

 

The only problem with waiting on either of them is that, who do we lynch? They seem to be the two viable candidates right now, with BG being the only other person to draw serious attention, and his case is even flimsier. We're not in a hurry up mode yet, but the lynch deadline is in 47 1/2 hours, which really isn't that much time, considering that it's taken 5...(6?) days to get to this point.

 

If another viable candidate for lynch can be found I'll move my vote. But not until then.

 

Disclaimer: If any of that came out in weird order, or doesn't make any sense it's because I've been up for about 36 hours on about 3 hours sleep... It all makes perfect sense to me at the moment... and hopefully will to you all.
