Hoofie that is a scummy thing to say. That is something the vamps would say to make us chase after a team instead of hunting them if you ask me. I would say that even if I weren't on the Paris team.

 

 

its the truth though. once the vampires recruit after this lynch, you, lily and the other paris teammate (forgot her name) will be suspect along with Nolder. im not saying that we should go rampaging and lynch you all, that would be foolish, but now you guys are targets for recruitment.

 

also min, there is little point of confirming fellow townie's innocence unless they are about to be lynched and you want to save them. revealing Nolder makes him a target.

 

i am not saying dont ever reveal, but only do it when you are in dire straights.

min revealed that you are town. im not saying that you WILL die or be converted, but when looking at a bed of nearly-identical flowers and you are asked to pick one, you would likely pick the one that decides to look at you and smile. so basically you are now different from the other flowers, nolder, along with paris team.

 

being different in a mafia game makes you a target for a kill, and in a cult game like this, it is worse, because you are an even better choice for recruitment.

We got two vampires yesterday. Great! Had to sleep so I didn´t see the result until I woke up. I´m a bit worried that we didn´t get the result from Leelous, Amas and Christines tests. It means that you three now are suspects along with everyone that weren´t on our side of the wall.

 

I have to read through this thread again before I can vote. I was so into the fast game yesterday that I have forgotten about this game. I´m not sure I will post my thoughts today (sunday) - it depends on my bf and how jealous he is of DM today.

 

About reveling townies: Right now it is good that we know Min´s viewings, especially since she is a confirmed townie. But as Blackhoof says, tomorrow we can´t relay on those results anymore.

Wow. I leave for 24 hours, two vamps dead and a whole boatload of confusion going on!

 

I am totally up the creek a bit on this one. The only thing that stood out to me was Jack asking for team paris to step forward. I just don't see the need for that. They could have spoken up and made a case against Sak's voters, all without having confirm team allegiances.

 

I'm not quite sure what power the vamp's would get from knowing who is together on a team like that, but any knowledge is power.

MOD HOUSEKEEPING: It's summer, and a lot of folks are on vacation or just enjoying family time over the weekend. Severalplayers have let me know that they won't be as active during these times, and all is well. There are no modkills for inactivity - and if someone does drop off the radar, I'll send out search parties first, then try to find a replacement before I ever just whack 'em.

i have to wonder, how can we lose now? with half the remaining townies confirmed, the vamps are almost certainly doomed, and all because someone triggered a call-and-response action that promised consequences. all results have been good unless.... unless it is only bad for the team of the person who triggered it. could the fangers (good term btw berf) have been punishedfor a teammates mistake, not only losing several members but having half the town confirmed?

 

it doesnt seem fair- there must be a twist.

 

speculating is useless, but fun, and we cannot know the twist until it happens.

Only if people are slow enough to trust anyone or anything in a DPR game. Three confirmed townies narrows the pool of who might be the original vampires. Take out the originals and then work from there. It's a very legit strategy.

 

until THEY become vampires too. then we have three "confirmed" townies that we would never imagine lynching that are actually vampires!

 

focusing on catching the original vampire team is silly, because while we are confirming townies (a difficult thing to do, really) the vampires are converting them. we can find the original 4 (assuming all teams are equally sized) and lynch them, but by then the converts outnumber us, and we lose.

 

excellent, Team Paris is confirmed now (-1). by the next lynch, they shall all be suspect and possibly lynched. if they havent been killed by the vamps, that is.

Lily is not on team Paris!

 

She stated it earlier and I will state it again. Mottlee is my other teammate. We only had 3 on our team. I only say this since she revealed and I will confirm that yes, she is a teammate.

 

 

Okay, the vampires know who is town and who is not. So, why not clear people? I cleared Nolder, Vambram and John M. and they still have votes on them. Makes me think since I was cleared that players either haven't been paying attention or they are scum. So, what do you make of that?
