Each of your teams has been flown in from all points acrossthe globe. Moscow. Paris. Saudi Arabia. Thailand. Australia. New Orleans. Eachof your teams represents the elite of the killing squads.

 

 

You are the ultimate band of killers, and you are here toexterminate the vampire threat to New York City.

 

 

The threat is serious. Your countries and cities would nothave suffered your absence for any less.

 

 

The threat is global. Simply put, should you collectively failto exterminate every vampire, there will be no one to stop them from spreading.

 

 

This is a winner take all situation. Do not hesitate, do notover think, and do not let logic leave your thoughts for even a moment.

 

 

Never forget, your enemy is adept at mind control. They arephysically faster and stronger. They are driven by blood lust and will show nomercy to any of you.

 

 

The game rules are as follows:

 

 

This is a unique game in that no roles have been given toanyone, only alignment.

 

 

Every player has the option to “buy” a role from the listthat will follow this post.

 

 

All a player has to do to buy a role is to PM me. That’s it.

 

 

The cost of the roles is either 1, 2, or 3 “vote points”. Avote point is the number of votes it takes to lynch a player during any givencycle. So, if there are 10 players, it takes 6 to lynch. If you have purchaseda role for 2 points, it will only take 4 votes to lynch you.

 

 

No player may use more than 5 points to purchase roles.

 

 

All roles purchased last for the duration of the game.

 

 

Only one role per team (you can’t have 3 Cops on your team).

 

 

Should a player owe more points that it takes votes tolynch, the additional points will be taken from their team-mates.

 

 

Some roles are traps. Some traps will result in you only losingyour points. Others will result in more serious consequences.

 

 

No editing posts.

 

No quoting the mod in any form.

 

No communicating outside of the thread unless given expresspermission to do so.

 

No “No Lynch” votes. A deadline without a majority lynch = avampire conversion.

 

No dragging RL circumstances into the game. If you need totake a break or bow out, just let me know – it’s cool.

 

 

Time is not on your side:

 

 

You will vote to lynch, and you will keep voting to lynch.There is no “Day” phase. This game will take place over the course of 1fictional night.

 

 

Your team assignments have been sent out via PM to your teamcaptian. If you have not heard from them, please let me know. The Captains haveno significance outside of notifying you of your team.

 

 

There are many, many potentialities in this game. Stayactive, stay sharp, and don’t take anything for granted.

 

 

In addition, there will be two “Actions” that I will employduring this game.

 

 

A “Call-and-Response” action occurs when I announce it onthread. My post will say “This is a Call-and-Response action. Every player’snext post must start with the word “Run”, or they will suffer consequences.

 

 

It is very important to pay attention to the game and theseactions.

 

 

A “Moral Dilemma” occurs when I PM a player or team andoffer them a choice between two potentialities. The choice must be made, orconsequences will be had.

The following roles are available to purchase for either 1, 2, or 3 vote-points. The vote-points you spend are permanent.

 

1 vote-point will buy you:

 

Doctor, Friendly Nieghbor, Governor, Fisherman, Insomniac, Lightning Rod, Lie Detector, Politician, Roleblocker, Tracker, Watcher, Voyuer.

 

2 vote-points will buy you:

 

Absorber, Cop, Bulletproff Vest, Bus Driver, Double Voter, Enhancer, Immobilizer, Janitor, Networker, Sensor, Oracle.

 

3 vote-points will buy you:

 

Vigilante, Bomb, Cult Leader, Forensic Investigator

 

* Roles may be purchaed only 1 time per each team.

** No player is allowed to exceed spending 5 vote points all-together. In cases where you have spent 5, and you are lynched by 3 votes, you will die and a team-mate will be charged 2 points on your behalf.

***Yes, this entire system is a trap. Be very careful with what you buy and how you use it.
