My favorite Disney movie is the Little Mermaid, btw. I love them all, but I'm a huge fan of the fishes! ;)

I don't really know what my favorite would be, but I like a lot of them! I like the older ones like Snow White, Cinderella, Sleeping Beauty, and Beauty and the Beast...I could go on with thing like Aladdin and Peter Pan, but I think I would just end up naming all the Disney Movies.

Actually, my favorite Disney movie has changed 3 times. (Though I really like most of them, especially the older ones).

Before 1986, it was 101 Dalmations.

Summer of 87 it became Oliver and Company.

Then the fabulous run duked it out (Little Mermaid, Beauty and the Beast, Aladdin).... because I loved each one even more than the last. I was SURE nothing would ever be more awesome than Aladdin.

 

And then... they put out THE LION KING.

 

The trailers did not impress me. I thought it looked 'neat'..... and then that Jr High summer, I went to the movie theater..... 8 times. And was totally blown away. Since then, I don't think they've done a movie that really moves me as much as The Lion King. Every time I watch it I notice something even DEEPER than I did the last time. Some nuance that I didn't see when I was 13, or 18.... or even after getting a minor in medieval history and studying Shakespeare.... So I loved it then, for the characters and the story and the music and the awesome animation. And now, I just keep finding more reasons to enjoy it. (Sharing it with my son is fun too.)
