I was actually recruited between my accidental double vote on Player and my "rectifying" the situation. Yeah, I was a naughty girl again.... *blushes* Crusher, you almost had me towards the end, but I hoped there wouldn't be enough time to finish me off. *bites the big guy because she can!*

 

I almost made it all the way through a game as town. I will someday.  ;D Yes, I will, too!

The weekend seemed to really slow us down. Sure did me, anyway. We were rolling through the tests until then, which sadly gave the vamps loads of time to do their evil stuff. Oh well, enjoyable game concept, Wes!

The game was lost when I became the cop.  Never played this type of game and really wasn't comfortable with the timing.  Should I reveal, suggest people or jump up and down  and point my finger like Im looking into a pastry shop.  Plus out of all my chances I only picked two vampires, Rey and Lily. 

 

Sorry town.  It was fun.  I'll do better next time.

Yes, Pete. I know I cleared him, but it was a mistake, and can you blame me? There were sooo many vampires that I lost track. Not that it made much of a difference.  :P

 

So, what do you do when you have 1 week and you have to check everybody over ad over? Systemize. Get everyone to make a commitment to be on every day at the same time to vote, then map out who the votes will go for and when. It's the only way to win.

Why did the vampires win?

- inactivity of > half the players

- following the list of players. I simply had to take the last one or the one-but last person checked. Rey was a precousion  in case you got it. The amount of activity of each player should be more important in their checkability.

 

Even my mixing up tigara and tigraine didn't help you ;D

Going through the list once really quickly was a good idea (although I still like the idea of using confirmed hunters to random.org for order) as it guarantees a master kill but the activity level was so low we couldn't have expected to win with any strategy.

I think that was part of my frustration.  Usually I participate and post, but am not what most would consider "high activity".  This game feeds right into my normal online schedule of being able to have a few minutes here, a few minutes there, spread out over the course of the day, and still be very active on the thread.  In other games, I read, take notes, and may or may not be able to have something cohesive to post before I have to hop offline for a while.  Then I add to my notes and pre-written post the next time I can hop on, but that means I didn't post the first time where in this kind of game I would have.  If that makes sense.  I'm trying to fight my wall-of-text urges and just post bits at a time to keep a thread moving in standard/themed games, but it's a challenge since I like to think things through.
