I am game for an extension until tomorrow. I'm still kind of new at this and after this re-read...errr re-scan I am no longer certain about lynching Wombat. A lot of assumption that he's a jester and a lot of creativity from Lily make me leary of trying to take Wombat out in the good name.

The curse is permanant?  Why did Ed even use it then?  That should be holstered much like a vig's night kill (if a vig tried to night kill me I will slap said vig).  What if he'd hit the finder?  A 50% finder is useless unless you believe Kivam's marble argument.  Even then it's not very useful.  What if he'd merely hit the healer?  That's very anti-town, Ed.  Maybe we should lynch you.

Min - agreed, but some people like to appear offline when they aren't.  Kivam does it all the time.  Difference is that he does it whether he's town or mafia, but Ed seems to have done it just here.  I did it once....and I was mafia, lol.

For what it's worth, I'm pretty sure I have identified Wombat's PR.  I'm now sold on him having one, as he's done this for the last few days.

 

He's posting either the word lynch or night kill in every post.  I only went back a few RL days, and every single post had one or the other...or both.

I have to admit i did think that Al Jenn poked Millon off thread. But that wasn't the only reason i voted for him. It was the claim when he first announced he had been cursed. What a great way to try and make yourself look innocent by admitting you were targeted anf lost 50% (if he did). Lets say he did, and the person who did it knows that he had lost 50% of his power, then by coming out he could be trying to let them think that he had nothing to hide. I just think it was an odd thing to do.

 

He also said something in a thread about me and Pete (could be others) being blocked, at least that was the way I read it. what a thing to say, unless he knew for some reason that had happened!

 

Talya, that wasn't me... I never mentioned anything about that. You two being blocked? This is the first I remember reading about his, I don't know if I trust you. I'm inclined to think you are making that up just to try and appear innocent. Right now my vote is on Pete and I think you might be trying to defend him possibly either way that second paragraph makes no sense... I'm suspicious of you.

 

As for the reason I revealed. I honestly hope there is someone who can remove the curse, prince charming, or... I don't know. Either way I put it out there mostly because I don't want to be cursed. And I know this reason doesn't help any with trying to further my innocence, but I do think if I was scum I would have done a little bit better job. I could have set up a much better case against Ed, I mean I was cursed by him for goodness sakes. No I just threw it out there as just information. Talya the plan you're trying to implicate me in is needlessly complex and would fail miserably. I might be that devious, cunning, and complex however the simplest plans are usually the best. If you are going to make a complex plan it needs lots of simple parts that piece together otherwise it will fail. So thank you for having such a high opinion of me, but I am getting suspicious of you and your ability to point fingers for poor reasons.

Alanna is right I didn't "Poke" anyone off thread. It was in response to me talking about the players who aren't active.

 

I understand that people might not be on the same time I am or don't have as much time, but with 27 players I would hope people would still check in and just say I'm here and watching or something simple like that. As it is half of the players have only one to three posts. It makes it really hard to find who is anti-town that way when they could just be lying low. It also makes the people that post and try to figure things out look more suspicious. I mean pretty much everyone who has posted regularly today aside from Adella has been voted on. Where as Dah'mir, Cairos, Player, Sam, Crafty, etc. haven't and I can't justify voting for them either. I know I have seen some of them around and I know that trying to keep up with this thread is taxing, but it also makes it difficult to play this game without everyones input.

 

Talya: I'm pinging your radar, why? And please don't just say "Seems scummy". I'm half tempted just to go into a corner and lurk with my stupid curse *Shrugs*

 

Aside from that we need to work on tracking down the mafia out of this huge mess. With so many powers I expected more people to give us direction. I expect that Pete, Tayla and the other reknown/reputable players have been targeted for night actions. So I'm suspicious as always of all of you.

I got that from here Al Jenn, thats how I interpreted. And why would I do something like that to try and make myself look innocent, i'm not the one with the votes. You seem to be getting a little desparate to try and find someone else to blame!

 

Actually the plan is very simple, nothing hard about telling everyone that you were cursed and lost 50% of you role. The reasons you think up[ in your head, again not hard to do, unless you are saying that thinking comes difficult to you ;)

O', yes I believe that you were targeted for night actions. I would have though more along the lines of being recruited by someone though. However I'll take the information you gave me along with the latest vote counts.

 

As for me trying to blame others sorry but I am actively working to take the lynch off of wombat because he doesn't seem scummy. He has been making more sense and I agree that lynching him would be what the mafia would want because it means we waste another day arguing amongst ourselves. As for pointing the blame at you and Pete. Pete I am just always suspicious of, just like I said when this whole thing started and people jumped on me for saying that there was a cult.

 

You I am suspicious of not to redirect blame or OMGUS. I really try and avoid that even though I really wanted to earlier. However your reasoning seems... poor and just intended to provoke.

 

I guess it would be simple-ish. It does seem needlessly complex though. In these bigger games I think it would be easier to hide in the shadows than under everyones noses like I have said earlier. However if you sit back you don't have a hand in the game at all *shrugs* So motivated townies and scum alike will try that approach as well. Depends on your play style. Take Pete, he has been lurking... what does that mean. Either way I'm getting off topic about me being suspicious.

I say what I see, whether I look scummy or not. It's the way I play, no matter my alignment. If you are innocent why not look more at those. But then I guess, it's easy to have a convo with someone when they reply, Some are a lot less....vocal :D

Ugh, I hate when I have to work, I come home and have so many pages of game-thread to read through.

 

I don't find Ed scummy for making his online status always offline, because frankly, I did that too, a long time ago. You can call me scummy for it, I don't care. I started doing it in my second mafia game because I got super annoyed at people saying 'You were online and you didn't post, you MUST be scum!!' Sorry, but I have actual responsibilities on DM, and sometimes I only have time to come on and see to those, rather than posting in the dumb mafia game. Anyway, so you'll never see my status as online.

 

That said, I'm still a little suspicious of Ed; I think his cursing story could be a clever ruse. Cursing just seems like such an anti-town power. Also, I got a little confused, is it true that this cursing power could have been used anytime, and not just last night? Because if so, it was a little reckless to use it last night.

 

Otherwise, I don't know. I wish I had stronger suspicions, but there's still so many players. I guess  [glow=red,2,300]Al Jenn[/glow] is pinging my radar most; he did on Day 1 and he still is.
