I think I already mentioned that there are roles in this game that I've made up, roles that Pete made up. Mine have never been seen before, and only SOME of his have. Wouldn't want the experienced players to get bored, would we?  ;D

 

 

Sorry for the confusion. I need to clarify. You MAY reveal who your character is, although if you are a villain, that may not be wise *giggle* There are roles who would lose their ability if they are found out. I'm NOT saying whether or not Minuet was given such a role, but they do exist. So, revealing character - yes, revealing role - not everyone. Again, sorry if that was confusing.

 

Just thinking this might clear up some of the confusion. I figured quoting our mod's post from yesterday as a refresher might be nice. Seems some of you forgot about the revealing part you can loose your abilities. This might explain someone's behavior.

Yes, Talya, why do you keep ignoring the fact that Lily mentioned needles in the latest scene?  There was one next to Piglet's body.

You mentioned the apples in a few posts and all thru that time people kept mentioning the needles and you kept insisting it wasn't needles it was apples. :P

yep because I didn't see it...it's quite simple. Of course you could just be pushing for an ewasy lynch, try and think of something a little more substantive please.

 

Ok, this entire diatribe confused me. They were obviously confusing one another, however they are both experienced players that I doubt get confused so easily. Confusing no?

Nae seems to be blowing Talya's oversight out of proportion, insisting that she refuses to mention the needle. I think there was one post where she mentions the apples without the needle and it wasn't even related to determining who could have done it. Nae is pinging my radar. I still withhold my vote for scummier behavior, however.

This does smack entirely of a PR.  The gibberish post doesn't follow the same pattern, but it doesn't mean there's no PR.  *checks her double negative*  Yeah, I think that makes sense.  I don't discount the possibility that someone really did try and NK him (and maybe that started the PR), but at the moment I'm leaning towards even the original "who tried to nk me?" being part of the PR.  If it's a scum tactic, it's odd.  :P

 

I giggled when Verbal said "channeling Myndrunner".  :)  Threads on myndjack are a fun read and what I used as a good newbie primer, so even though I never played with Mynd, I loved the description of his play style.

anyway to clarify I really didn't see this needle, I thought that someone has started off on this needle thing and followed suit, thats why i had checked the front page. Unfortunately my time this week is very limited. I have just read from last night and I haven't even gotten to my Org to check things out there, and I need to go to bed soon...So I'm afraid I am rushing these things. I'd rather make silly mistakes like that than go LoA, that would be unfair on you guys and Lily. Give me a week and things should improve, I think this game will still be going strong then :D

 

So if you are confused over me and Nae, I assure you it was her not understanding why I hadn't seen the needles and me not understanding why everyone was looking at needles and not apples. :D And no this isn't defensive, just saying. Now we can move on.

 

Right now, I'm not sure why Verb is being voted for. Wombat I think has been given a role to play or something similar, so maybe can see why he voted Verb, (unless it is an act) however I can't see why Red and Min did.

 

I also think that Talm wouldn't have been known as a traitor to the Mafia, so either way I think they would have jumped on there as an easy lynch, or jumped on him if he was one of theirs to make them look good.

 

I prefer to go for the first. So there maybe a few mafia lurking on there.

 

Also I think Pete is a little quiet, i'm always suspicious of him when he is quiet... hmmmm!

I still say the mafia had some sort for finder day role that let them find the cop and watcher somehow, because it is too much to put to luck that they would find those two by accident in people who hardly said a thing.. I can find no reason or rhyme to it..

There is two players, one player gets player X was targeted, and the other player gets player Y targeted someone.

*lol* I think Wombat's Chicken Little. He's a Disney character. His PR probably just has to do with him being paranoid all day. I think we can effectively stop arguing about it. It's not helping us get scum.

 

I have to tell you I have NO IDEA who Min is, or what her alignment is. In fact I'm not even sure she's a true finder, possibly someone with a one time Finder power. That's not altogether impossible. Which is why I made no effort to defend her.

 

Other than that, I have no idea what's going on. Keep in mind, people, that Lily could also be handing out alot of one time actions. Hard to be really 100% sure about people unless they do it consistently throughout the game. *grins*

Assuming for a moment that Wombat is telling the truth, is his ability knowing that somebody tried to put a night action on him, blocking/redirecting a night action against him and knowing about it or just making insane posts when he thinks someone has tergeted him?

 

He really does seem to be trying to get us to lynch him. Clever ploy if he's mafia, because we're all thinking he's just a harmless idiot. No offense Wombat.  :D

 

I believe that every character that has a role has a power that would be logical for that character. Even looking at Piglet and Pooh, they make sense in hindsight. If we can discover his character, we should be able to decipher his role.

 

Or we could just lynch him and be done with it.

 

Still reserving my vote. There are a few people I'm looking at, but there is really nothing screaming "scum" right now.

 

EDIT: Good idea on the Chicken Little thing. I'll keep it in mind.
