Why is everyone still worries about the Black Ajah and thinking we need to concentrate on that, I'm really not getting this. I thought Dragons post said that he didn't put the BA in different Ajahs as it would make it very uneven, but he didn't rule out there not being a BA, so they are obviously the 8th Ajah and should be treated the same way you treat everyone else who isn't in your Ajah.

Worry about things like that later when there are less players and more to go on.

The game has gone on long enough as it is and not much has happened.

As for getting rid of high point earners, well they are the only ones keeping this thread going, there seem to be a lot that don't post much nor contribute much to it. Those are the ones we should be looking at. However, saying that Luddy looks good to lynch tomorrow as he has so kindly volunteered!

All right, come on! Lynch me if you wish. Though I can't understand what you are trying to achieve with it. Do you think there's a chance I'll turn out to be an Ajah Head after half of the players volunteered to lynch me?

Though I do hope I'll be the first to post when the new day starts. I'll see what arguments against my candidate for lynching the people who say not being in their Ajah is the best reason ever will have.

He's got a point, you know.  If you all are trying to go after Ajah heads, Ludmian would be a very poor choice seeing as you all announced that you wanted to lynch him in the game thread.  I understand going after him if a majority of you feel that lynching him would move the game along at this point.

Based on who all is active in the game thread at the moment, I don't think we are going to have enough votes to lynch.  We're going to have to go and poke the inactives to vote if we want any lynch tomorrow.

This is an excellent point.  Pete, could you perhaps poke some inactives?  We'll be playing until next summer unless they start participating, lol.

And for the record, I'm not voting for Ludmian tomorrow, for 2 reasons:

1.  He's right that he won't be the Ajah Head (WIFOM aside, they wouldn't make him the Head just in case).

2.  He wants to move the game along, which is good.  He's just not going about it the right way, but he's still trying.

Depends, he may have already been submitted as Ajah head, and i doubt you can keep swapping and changing who is the head. Can you clarify this Pete?

Anyway having had time to reconsider its probably makes more sense to vote for the most inactive players first, even though by the same rights of previous conversations they highly unlikely to be the Head's, but at least we keep the players who keep the game moving along.

1) The inactives aren't earning points and are therefore less of a threat than the actives

2) The inactives aren't stopping the game in any way. For one, they're not dividing votes.

3) It's going to come down to last man standing, and it would be easier to get rid of inactives than actives, then

So we should get rid of the inactives first ... why?

My main reason is based purely on the fact that if we lynch active players, then we will struggle to have enough votes to keep lynching, the more inactive people who get lynched, the less votes we will need, therefore the game will progress.

I think it is up to each Ajah to get the people who are in their Ajah more active.

I'm not saying that I agree 100% with lynching inactives, but he does raise a good point here.

Couple of thiings -

Pete and I were on MSN last night. He said he will be out-of-town today, so you may want to PM him your questions. He may not see them in a timely manner on thread.

That list is not updated. Narina and Moose, I believe are no longer playing. Bursius was replaced by Green Shirt. Mirshann was also replaced, wasn't she? By Moggy? I think that's what Pete said. At least that's what I wrote down. There may be other problems. I thought Pete was going to address that, but he hasn't had time I guess. I'm pretty sure there are only 21 total players right now, because he never was able to fill those slots. And, yeah, Van's on vacation, and should be classified as semi-active. We also can't penalize people for not being active during D-con if they went. Sorry to dump so much cold water on what is a really good plan, guys.

I think we need to wait until Pete is back and nag and nudge him to give us an updated list. And then we can plan how to go about this. I do think this is a good plan, though. :) I'm totally behind it. Although, if the votes go in favor of Luddy, I'll go that way. Any lynch that's not my Ajah, as I've said all along.

Pete also gave me a message to deliver to the thread. I was going to wait until tonight, but what the heck. He said that if he isn't back tonight to end night phase, it will be extended until 9PM EST tomorrow.

I can try. I can copy the list off my spreadsheet. Yes, that's how I play. I'm anal.....lol And these are my opinions on activity. I don't feel really confident in them, and would not be offended if anyone made changes to my color coding.

1.  Mystica

2.  Lily

3.  Ludmian

4.  Charis

5.  Moose - left game not replaced

6.  Crystal

7.  Torrie

8.  Narina - left game not replaced

9.  Zania

10. Talya

11. Elgee

12. Jaydena

13. Moggy

14. Green Shirt -was at DCon - excused for now

15. Cosmicpanda lynch day 1 - White Ajah

16. Daetirion

17. Meesha

18. Illiara

19. APTL

20. Minuet - lots of stuff going on in RL. Would cut her some slack for a bit

21. Verbal

22. Mcs

23. Tynaal

24. Vanion on LOA, but active before that

Color Legend:

Red = active

Blue = semi-active

Green = inactive

If my list is correct, or when we get a correct list, I'd suggest bumping off lynching the green players, followed by the blue ones. That will give the blue ones a chance to change their status.

The bolded part made me think of something, and maybe Luddy meant it all along, maybe he never thought of it... *shrugs*

If the first person to post in each Day phase chose a random person to lynch, using "they're not in my Ajah" as the main reason, we could actually learn something.

Think about it.  You don't want to vote for a member of your own Ajah, so if everyone else starts jumping on one person as well, we can look at the people who AREN'T voting, and narrow down our list of who's-who in the game.

For example, say I post first and decide to randomly vote Joe Shmoe.  Everyone jumps on Joe with me, but some people hang back, even though they were all for this kind of lynch earlier.  We can examine everyone who doesn't vote for Joe, and maybe even find out who his Ajah-mates are.

I'm not saying it's the best idea ever, but it was a thought, and it might move the game along if we tried that.

Woo! I got blue instead of green on the list.

I agree with lynching of inactive people probably being the only way to get enough votes to lynch someone. I'm shocked we were able to kill panda on the first day.

I suggest we lynch the two people that are currently inactive. By the time we are done with that other reasons for lynching should arise such as someone gets caught doing a night kill or an ajah gets lucky and recruits a white ajah member and we all kill the third one to finish the whites off.

I know I don't get to post everyday, sorry about that. However, those who go several days without posting or especially voting I would definitely eliminate. I mean the day and night cycles are so long in this game it is hard to keep interested to be honest. Not to mention I had a lot going on this weekend and on into the week. Luckily hubby goes camping this weekend and as long as I don't get sick I should be around more.

Yea, I agree with that, too. We shouldnt actually lynch those who are listed RED (active), even tho I'd be willing to change my mind for a Luddy-lynch. *teases* It makes sense that if you're left playing with a bunch of inactives or semi-actives, it wouldnt make for a very good game. But, before we decide who to lynch, we really do need Gypsy to give a proper list. I was already confused with the replacements, and the dropouts are confusing me even more.  :P
