FDM would make 't a wee less obvious I think. But either way, I`d definitely say hold off viewin' th' lass' fer if she be th' Jester, she`d jus' show up innocent anyhow an' 't`d be a wasted night action. But definitely a decent joke. Well, I suppose it's as good a group as any I've seen. *sits back to light pipe* I remember in the game of '42 when Jeremiah Talyor tried to kiss Missy Thompson, but she slapped him. Now, old Jeremiah though tht this was a good sign on account of his mother doing the same to his father for as long as he could remember. Anyway we were all sitting by the fence dinking lemonade.....what was I sayin' again?.....Is it time for the Jell-O yet?

Well, this ratchets Kryos pretty high up on the old suspicious-o-meter, doesn't it?

 

First, anyone the finder views might come up innocent.  Second, even if she is the Jester and comes up innocent, its good for us to know she's come up innocent - that way, we won't lynch her for being suspicious (and lose the game for lynching the Jester).  And the mafia probably wouldn't risk killing her for a while, since she's more likely to be the Jester than some others around here - which means we'd have a confirmed innocent whether she's the Jester or not, which can only help those of us not on the dark side.

 

Third, you are (for some odd reason . . . maybe because you are evil, maybe because you are the simpingest simp who ever simped) completely discounting the possibility that she could be mafia and that a finder view on her wouldn't be "wasted" at all.  Of course, if you had no inside knowledge of people's alignments, there's no reason you'd think a view of Loreina would be any more likely to be "wasted" than anyone else.

As you gaze out of the window, you see dawn breaking. The gala never seems to tire, though you begin to feel as though there were sand behind your eyes. As you turn from the view, you hear a loud scream, and someone rushing down the great stairs. Walking slowly toward the noise, you see a woman rushing to the King, talking so fast she seems almost incoherent. The King seems to understand perfectly, and as he grasps for a way to stand, he bellows, “Seal the room! Let no one leave!”

 

Guards rush in to close all doors. Most of the party seems not to notice anything at all, many too drunk to understand all the commotion. As you draw nearer, you hear the whispers of the small crowd beginning to gather around the King. “Queen”, and “dead” are all that you make out, but it is enough. It seems the party is taking quite a turn…

 

It is now day. No player has died. With 23 people, it takes 12 to lynch.

 

Kryos is lynchproof.

And for an explanation... in 2 of my most recent games I've opened the game with a vote, and each time that person has died, and has been evil. I doubt it'll work this time around, but hell, no sense in not trying.

O me, that is a good one! A knee-slapper is what we used to call 'em - not sure what the young 'uns call 'em these days. Reminds me of when we used to sneak into the stables at night and....wait...that was the henhouse we used to sneak into....no, that's where the foxes were supposed to go. Well, it doesn't matter much because this is still serious!

Kivam's explanation makes sense, and not at all in a WIFOM way.   A couple of other players are not making sense, and it could easily be in an evil way. Hmmmm. I think we could do with a couple of explanations from Tigs and Kryos. I'd love to bag an evil on the first vote!
