How is this an about face? And the points  I’ve made have nothing to do with Rand - they are just an effort to be clear. 
 

Town needs clarity to move forward effectively. I’ve put some very basic views out there and it’s up to you to decide if you agree or not, but this should be based on logic - not what-ifs or personal feelings.

I said it. I don't think that acknowledging all options is  muddying the waters. I stated the possibility but essentially dismissed it immediately. 

The doc not covering Dice is not so clear. Maybe the doc doesn't believe Dice or didn't think they could stop the Strongman. Maybe the mafia flat out didn't believe him, because if thats the case then they wouldn't have shot at him. You are sounding like salty mafia your kill didn't go through for some reason you dont understand. 

Your conclusion that Dice is mafia faking cop means there is a real Cop out there probably with some sort of a result as it would be blind luck for mafia to have blocked them.

From your previous interactions with Rand, I was getting the feeling that you were supporting Dice as the Cop making a valid claim, and that Rand was being scummy in response. Does not the way that anyone looks at Rand's response switch diametrically if we assume Dice is mafia false claiming or actually the cop? Because Rand as mafia would know if Dice is false claiming or not, and would presumably be in on it. 

 

So you're saying that your interaction with Rand was regardless of whether Dice's claim was real or not? That seems difficult for me to process - surely that would have a huge impact on people's expectations?

Right. Here's where I'm at. I still have 2 cases left to do today but 2 hours to do them in. In the spoiler you will find my thoughts and rambles from catching up.

 

I agree, from having to read though all that that most of today has been discussing what could have happened. The simple answer is we don't know. There are two many variables. It's not gonna help us find out who is Mafia to talk about night action theories. We should consider this a groundhog day, with one confirmed dead town and play like it is Day 1. Use people's posts and read lists and stuff, but we don't need to know what happened.

 

@ed2funy can you give me a list of most Town down to most Mafia please. And the reasons why you think they are Town/Mafia pls

@RandA lThor I don't think it's ever a good look to say 'everyone on x' lynch is suss apart from me. Especially when you are the one who seems most excited about it being a Mafia plot. Apart from being on that Lynch, what reasons do you have for me, Key and dpr specifically.

the mafia maybe tried to kill dice and the doc protected them, but says that’s daft cos they wouldn’t need to try and kill him if he was roleblocked and they could have used the strongman and got him dead for sure. He thinks Rand can help with this?

A wild Tigs appears and tells Rand to quit it with his knock off phrases about being the Towniest Town or he’s gonna get a copyright strike (hello Zander)

 

Tigs says, in response to DPR pondering why Dice would be roleblocked that it was to , ‘maybe convince us to lynch our cop?’ Here’s the thing. I think No Result is pretty much the standard answer when an info role is blocked. DPR knows this. I’m pretty sure Dice would know it, so I’m not sure why he was being all coy about it. I think DPR should wanted all the who was checked AND the result at the same time and Dice was being weirdly cautious.

 

Tigs maintains mafia roleblocking Dice would mean we wouldn’t believe he was Town and so we’d lynch him and then lynch Rand the next day. I’ve never been ok with these domino line ups of future lynches. Everything always changes when end of day and end of night happens. I don’t like to voteception suggestions. And I can’t play chess.

 

Rand makes an excellent point about the Doc now being able to be the cop, cos ‘if whoever they protect doesn’t die then they must be Town?’ Apart from no. The doc doesn’t know who the mafia targeted so they don’t know if they saved them or not. Also maybe the Doc is mistaken about who is Town and protects a mafia. There is also the BVP on the condemn dude and the Hider in that mix too. Whoever the doc is needs to get that bright idea put out of their head.

 

Rand is saying changing his vote is a very Town thing and if Dice says that’s scummy then Dice is scummy. I’m not gonna put words in Dice mouth hear, but I’m pretty sure he feels like a non counter claimed Cop is a Town thing, and you not believing him is scummy. I don’t think there’s very much to be gained by batting ‘most scummy award’ about. Repeating previous reasons over and over is not building a stronger case. Also why all this effort on Dice, if you feel you’ve already found a Mafia in DPR?

 

Tigs says mafia would bother with the strongman kill on Dice when roleblocking him causes more confusion. That’s kind of true, so we’re kind of replying Day 1, but we do have more info this time because we have 1 confirmed Town dead person.

 

Pop up Ed post asking why people can’t just say what they think. Votes DPR without saying what he thinks.

 

I agree with Verb that it would be easier to just block Dice, who has claimed cop, and try to kill a random.  Excluding Dice, that’s 1 in 8? Apart from two of those 8 can’t be killed cos they’ve either cos a vest on or they’re hiding. And the doc is in the mix too they could have selected the same player as the mafia. There’s probably people that can work out the numbers, not me though.

 

Turin does analysis and says there are corrections to be made to Dice’s replay of the last lynch votes. Disagrees that voting for a out of scope player, and then last minute changing to prevent a random lynch is the Towniest Town thing ever.

 

Heavy asks for clarification on what mods will and wont allow. No direct quoting from the PM. Retyping or paraphrasing is fine. Again it’s to stop people saying ‘behold the post of the mod which proves what I say is true’. But results are generally given in a standard way so I’m not sure what the big hooha was all about.

 

Rand still thinks he’s a hero. So I’m gonna sound out what he has been saying. He is unhappy that I thinks it’s very likely Dice is the Town Cop. He says yes but mafia plan! I say any plan would involve more than just Dice. Rand holds of untying the vote… or doesn’t vote one of the trains. It all seems a bit close to call. Anyways at the last second he votes Marsh. Marsh is dead Town and Dice is alive possible Town Cop. Rand then starts saying no mafia though, maybe mafias though. Dude you are not thinking your own things through. Let’s say we lynch Dice. Either Dice is mafia and you will once again be the hero and outed him with your warnings of plans – which will make me think you were part of the damn plan so you could get Town cred and I will want you dead next. Or Dice is the Town cop and we’ll have lynched our Town cop and I will want you dead because you strongly advocated for lynching Dice. So, either it’s you who are tunnelling town who wants everyone else to see what is so plainly clear to him, or you are a mafia mastermind genius lol. Note neither of those options places you as a hero so you need to get over it.

 

Agree with Rands thoughts on the Ed pop up vote.

 

Dice again with the worry about quoting from the PM. Again you can’t QUOTE but you can type out what they say – because back in the day you could tell when things had been copied and pasted and a quote would have Darthe’s name on it.

 

Heavy still thinks Dice is most likely mafia. He would like us to resolve it. Could you please explain how you would resolve it?

 

OH… Rand realises that using Doc and a cop is garbage. Yay!

 

Rand would like DPR, me or key to be lynched today because we were on Marsh’s Train. **go back here and check who was on it** He’d like to discount himself cos he’s obviously so town and his vote is not Alignment Indicative - and Dice, who he thinks is untouchable – despite spending the better part of all that I read to say how he thinks Dice is dodgy?

 

Rand has his prob town list which I’m mostly ok with with. But then says he’s fine with Ed and his pop up vote?

 

Dice goes though what might have happened for Heavy and seems legit.

If his cop claim is true then all those people also voted for a Town and theres probably a mafia in there too.

it wasn’t a pop up vote. I’ve been seeing and disliking his posts and indicating this for awhile. 
 

anyway, at the ER for my road trip buddy so I’ll try to start a list while I’m waiting for her. But I don’t think it’s gonna be a list like y’all want.
