Yes - I checked Shad's database and there were about 6 or 7 games where they both played.

I would dearly love to have today off work so I could spend actual time thinking about this game before deadline.  That's not going to happen, though.  I haven't had a chance to finish looking hard at D1 but I'll try to at least skim through it again on my lunch break today.

 

I hope someone good at this game is town and can come up with a better idea than I've had so far.

 

I get where Cory's coming from with the BFG vote and I would probably be willing to go that route, except that there's been absolutely no content from her.  Having a train on her with other legitimate options might tell us a thing or two depending on the other options and their respective alignments, if and when we find them out... If she's scum, it would definitely help to have their team down two regardless of what info we can gather.  So yeah, I'm not opposed to going that way today if there isn't anything else.

 

I suspect there may be at least a non-town in the AJ/Dice thing that seems to have been brewing.  Maybe.  Both of them I would LIKE to think are town.

 

Going to try to trust Cory at least until I see where this next day/night takes us.

 

I feel pretty good about Kat right now.

 

Beads and Illian are kinda throwing me with getting used to them as players.  Not sure how much of what's making me uncomfortable is just the unfamiliarity with their approach/style, and how much is actually legit.

 

Hoping Nolder will try to at least read back a bit and give some thoughts before end of day...  I'm not sure I can read Krak that well, and I have more experience with Nol.

My thoughts on BFG -

 

She does know the game started & indicated she would try to read and has been MIA again since. Her not being around d1 probably just meant she was busy, as she said she would be, and is ultimately pretty NAI.

 

I'm a little bummed she never resurfaced. I'm also a little bummed when she checked in she didn't hang around to chat or anything of the sort, I was hoping for at least a hi :P

 

We all know which alignment she prefers (I prefer it too, not player hatin!) I have a slight feeling that she'd be more likely to try and make time if she were town whereas as mafia she might think 'I'm really busy, don't have time for this' etc.

 

But that's super thin and it could easily be explained by a lot of other things, so I'm not particularly confident it means much.

But there's no one I particularly feel strongly about lynching today, and it's kinda been a weird phase, I think it's not a bad idea to get it over with and resolve that slot.

AJ's whole yday still bothers me

Something I don't remember at all from AJ's town game was how embittered he was by my suspicion on him. Pretty sure he's used to me testing him as a villager and usually handles it pretty gracefully.

I've never seen him react that aggressively to it, especially considering how latent it was. I wasn't even all that suspicious of him 'til that came up, I was mostly kidding around /w him.

I could see AJ being pretty distressed if he was a wolf with a largely inactive team (counting Blackhoof's very low involvement) or without a lot of support / something to play for, basically.

Would at least explain his d1 --> d2 mood shift cos that ish wears on you quick.

Hallia and Darthe remain mech cleared barring some Darthe godfather shenanigans that I'm not going to think about. Especially if the n0 peek was randed, which I'm guessing it was? I feel like Nyn would not have chosen Darthe for that, lol, but could be wrong.

 

Have liked Kat's posting a lot both days, seems like her genuine village mindset & her reads match what I would expect her reads to be. Not super clear for me or anything but strong village lean.

 

AJ is a sore spot and it's hard to progress on him because I think he's spent more of d2 being self-conscious about how others are viewing him over trying to continue to develop his reads. AFAICT his reads are stagnating. It's really hard to parse what changed, whether it was what he felt was angley spec talk ruining his enjoyment of the game, or whatever... but it's making it more difficult to determine his alignment. Also did not understand at all his angle on the Illian Tear situation. Problem Spot

 

Illian Tear has been hard for me to really understand & communicate with, I don't really know how to read him. Got himself in some hot water but not sure if just bungled phrasing and difficulty communicating. Still no real reason I think he's more likely to be a villager. Problem Spot

 

Tress has been super solvey together and helping put pieces together and find discrepancies and issues. I've seen her play good wolf games before even though she'll probably say otherwise, or at least emulate her town tone well enough, but feel very comfortable with her this game - strong village lean.

Marsh - claimed vig, shot Kaylee, I believe the claim. Could theoretically be 3P but not going there any time soon, have liked his posts today & overall analysis of the game. Early on I was a little spooked because he seemed a lot different from the Marsh I'm used to playing with........ until I remembered the last 3 games I've played with Marsh he was a wolf. XD

 

Beads - claimed something or another (limited shot self-protective role?), has been pretty open and communicative and has been attentive to the game. That being said, no read he has made has really stood out for me, and sometimes he just seems... a little too agreeable. Him declaring IT to be his best scum suspect when the pressure around him had mounted seemed a little too "me too"-y. Been back and forth - I thought the way he randomly rolehinted seemed more like a 'too earnest' type of town move, but considering he has experience with the game I've sort of moved to just ignoring that.. fun to play with, certainly been very transparent, but without knowing his town/wolf games I don't have anything but vague feelings regarding his alignment. Problem Spot

 

Dice - Reviewing dice's posting this game, IDK, I just kind of feel this is normal dice. AJ has shaken me a bit on this read, because dice can definitely impact a game more than he's doing here, but I've seen a lot of more... passive town games from dice and I believe his reads are pretty much what they'd be if he were a villager. Liked his early comms with Nyn, buuuuuuuuuuuut he's also very much the kind of player that would kill Nyn and then suggest it's weird that me/AJ didn't die. Since Nyn would probably figure him out eventually XD gonna go with Light Town

 

TheSociopath - Nyn called his push on me d1 'too ballsy to be scum' and I half-agreed at the time, at least enough to think he wasn't a great wagon. He's gone pretty much MIA since, it's not hard for me to think that was a level. His posts before that are pretty lifeless and vanilla. Problem Spot

Your list is pretty close to mine. Of the orange, I don't want to lynch AJ or Beads today since I still feel better about them than the other four. BFG or Illian would be my top choices if the deadline were right now.
