Story Fest 2017: Sentence Story Telling

My sister looked at me amused and said, "Quit messing around, I know I threw a fit about the checkers game but you don't have to mock me by pretending to throw one too."

[Ryrin]

But she wasn't .... pretending....,

[thehumantrashcan]

How could my sister not see the shadows, I thought as they pulled me deeper into the bushes.

Then I heard the angry hissing of a cat.

[LedZepMan]

The cat from the room blazed like a beacon fire in the black of night, his glorious aura battled the shadows.

[thehumantrashcan]

"I'm glad you drew out this shadow demon, I've been hunting it for ages." the cat said with a twinkle in his eye.

[LedZepMan]

At that moment, a variety of expressions flitted across my sisters face, bewilderment turned to panic, terror to consternation, until she couldn't process anymore and fainted, resulting in her falling face down in the bushes.

[thehumantrashcan]

"Well, you seems to built of stronger stuff, perhaps I won't wipe your memory." The cat said as it finished dispelling the shadow.

[LedZepMan]

"W...Wh......what?!?!W..w..wipe my memory?!?" I stuttered while shivering unexpectedly.

[thehumantrashcan]

"Well not many people can handle a swirling storm of shadows bent on consuming them or a talking cat that can dispatch them" the cat said, motioning towards my unconscious sister.

[LilyElizabeth]

"I'll admit it is surreal," I responded. "And here I thought you were just a neighborhood stray."

[Cross]

"All strays are hunters" the cat replied simply enough. 

[LedZepMan]

"Hunters of what?" I asked. "That....What was that?"

[LilyElizabeth]

"It is a shadow being from another plane of existence," the cat answered. "It is my duty to eradicate it."

[thehumantrashcan]

And thus began a beautiful friendship.

 

Thanks for playing guys, don't want to crash into the game show week so we'll have to wrap it up but I think staring this game somewhere else would be fantastic.  What Ajah, might start a thread like this in the bookish brown ajah board.  Keep your eyes open for it.
