DEMONOLOGY - GAME THREAD

Honestly it will be interesting to see who flips what. But I know that an inactive will be killed in the night (it's something mafia would do and it's a good strategy that doesn't give anything away), so we won't get any real clues as to who is town or mafia.

So in my opinion, we have to lynch someone for better or for worse.

 

:dry: I know you guys will interpret that as scummy, but it's not. In fact mafia would want no majority to be reached so that they could get two kills.

 

Which brings a thought to mind, has anyone been hindering the build up of any train on a single person? Maybe some clues are there

 

 

Inactives are very very rarley NK'd here.

 

Too easy to push mislynches on.

 

What do you mean too easy to put mislynches on? In a sense if an inactive was killed at night, then D2 would still have hte same confusion as D1. So yeah, either side could get lynched, but the mafia team are still in a strong position. Even if it is "outdated" doesn't mean they won't do it in this game.

Ok guys, I take on board that Dice pushing a lynch on Zander is not indicative of anything.

 Totally get that.

 

Maybe switching his vote to me was due to him thinking I was trying to use bad reasoning to cast suspician on him which he read as scummy. Actually I think his reaction was reasonable if he's Town trying to lynch a wolf.

 

Yeah I think looking back it is obvious Dice is Town. In that case I'll unvote Dice. I'd rather not lynch a townie on the D1.

I'll wait to cast my vote on someone who raises my suspicions more.

Dice as town is not obvious to me. Pretty sure we were scum together not too long ago and he got cleared early in a similar way.

@ Hermes Dice pushing for a blind lynch on Zander is entirely null. Zander pushes for a blind lynch on one of him Lenlo or Penny in pretty much every game ever.

 

Your "If the votes on Dice pick up, then I'll swtich my vote to him." without explanation set off some alarm bells for me and Zander too, so I can't really knock Dice for hopping on that.

Wolves have to get villagers lynched in order to win.

 

They can night kill obvious villagers who will never be lynched.

 

Or they can hunt PRs and kill players who they think will be threats to them.

 

Or they can kill inactives who town will have to lynch to resolve otherwise.

 

For some brilliant reason generations of villagers believed that the third option was best.  I'm not sure what the underlining rationality behind that was, but I'm pretty sure it was the same one that made Donald Trump POTUS.

Yeah yeah, but isn't it possible he's mafia and pushing for Zander (a townie) to be lynched, but hiding behind his playstyle and lure us into a false sense of security?

Obviously killing power roles is a better use of your night kill but killing an inactive is just as likely to kill a power role as any other target, statistically speaking.

I just mean that people who are inactive and not around and are actually Town, are easy lynches for Wolves to push.

 

Why would you waste the NK unless you thought they were a PR on someone you can prolly get mislynched.
