I'm guessing he was reacting to me joking about being scum with someone after I screwed with him D1 saying I could get away with doing that in the open as a wolf and he said he'd lynch me if I tried.

I thought he would claim something like "I'm the Oracle. I knew about the existence of the Order, Heathens, and Relic Bearers from the start and many of their details. Basically I could verify claims from all three factions to a degree, but I couldn't be vetted by any of them. I was informed that there is one Traitor."

 

I think a claim like that could have won.

 

I think he might be too deflated by the state of his team coming into this day to realize that they gained a huge advantage last night.

Not sure which context I said that in, but JiF was a total hero peek in that he was the most consensus villager in the game not named Zander by way of almost every Heathen dropping a town read on him and a number of non-Heathens calling him villager too.

 

If Marsh, the uncountered active Relic Bearer claimed he could confirm Marsh was a villager.

I'm not really sure how else I could see this game going tbh. Minus some serious tinfoil setting in I think the town could all just mass claim in a pinch and lynch anyone that was an obvious outsider. That was the golden goose I was chasing all game. I didn't have any info that could clear me when it really came down to it

Like no matter what at any given point of the game a townie couldn't been ran up and claimed any of three roles and been cleared on the spot. That's super hard to overcome as scum when your mislynches slip away like that.

 

And once we were at a point of there being only claimed/confirmed townies left I knew it was game over. Especially once Marsh got vetted

Was snow a sacrifice for town cred AJ? that was the thing making me think 3p instead of mafia.

Not to detract from Town's victory. They kicked serious tail and POE'd the scum down fast. Even bussing Snow D1 was necessary because I could see the game was heading in that direction. The consecutive peeks on Verb and Nolder were also just excellenr NA usage. Town rocked but this was also a hard setup for scum to win during the Day phase. Having a majority of our kills gone in such order didn't help either
