Pral does take a lot of pride in reading me and he's right that I'm not quite in normal villager mode this game but that's more to do with me just being weird sometimes than anything alignment relevant

Unfortunately there's no lynch I feel amazingly good which led to the vote on Prallia sheerly because she's a -1 on the notepad through Hallia's posting but I never felt great about it, hence the :/

Not a normal villager? So are you a villager or not? This hinting has piqued my curiosity

ironeyes I swear you're doing this on purpose to mess with me :(

Doing what? I promise I'm not trying to mess with you and I have no idea what I'm doing that does

i really feel like liz is one to try and work out the game as a villager rather than spend the vast majority of her time trying to formulate a read on a relatively unpredictable player instead

Skimmed the first few pages of both her previous games here, not sure I got much from either other than she was invested more in both of those. However in MK (town) she started off on Calder because 'strong player by reputation not doing much' which is similar to her initial approach with Darthe here and different to her approach in 90s music and given Darthes approach this game I can 'see' the tunnel coming

Given a, how long ago those games were b, I doubt anyone bothers looking them up (except me ) I doubt she's copied the approach on purpose. Also pretty sure that Liz was vigged in her town game here, so not necessarily a townie town

Ummm...I'm pretty sure I was one of the top town reads in that game. Pretty sure I was vigged based on paranoia.

And because INTJs don't know how to read me in games :(

And for the record, if I seem less invested in this game, it's because I've felt like other people haven't been invested enough to give me something to bounce off of. You and Nyn being among the few exceptions.

I'm doing my best to contribute despite the lack of energy I'm feeling from the game right now.

And I'm not trying to be snippy with you, so don't feel bad about what you said. You giving your commentary is fair and actually helpful. It just annoys me when people (not you) wait until the end of the day to actually start trying to do something.

I'll stop ranting about that now. Reading on.

BFG you are assuming I have read the thread :)

(:

:)

(:

:D :D :D

(Going through now

Won't lie the lack of follow up to this pings a little (or at least I don't remember any)

Yeah I got distracted that night and wasn't getting anywhere with my reread, maybe page 3 or 4

Not sure if this'll make sense but I didn't reallt have my head ITG yet and I was assuming I'd be able to do more Friday but work absolutely kicked my ass

I feel a bit better now, still not where I want to be but I have ~3 villagers I feel pretty good about

re: Laine I remember her getting scumread in thr last game I played here bc she was sort of hostile / direct which I think is more typical of her village game than anything else. Not as confident as I was in that game (even if I reversed course in DT lol) but I'd still guess strongly she's just a villager who's deliberacy is turning some people the wrong way.

It's obvious your head's not in the game and it's making it very difficult to read you. On a technical level I don't 'disagree' with anything you said last night, I don't see the interest(? lol words) and I say that knowing that sometimes it takes a few days to kick in (see House)

And beyond last night your 'approach' to the players you've interacted with is how I'd expect town! Cory to go, I just don't think it's anything mafia! Cory would necessarily do differently

In short at the moment I have you at the bottom of either of your ranges which makes me sad since it's been a while since we played /shrug

Fair, I didn't read that game (except literally 2 pages of your ISO just now and enough of Chris to know I didn't trust him :p), I just know you were vigged.

Normal villager as in this is not my typical DM village game meta-wise though I'm starting to get a better grasp aorn

Wasn't a hint of anything

OK, makes sense

Perfectly fair BFG but I have little control where "Magic Cory" is concerned

This hasn't been a particularly EASY game either

We get there when we get there, but the lynch is in like 2 hours so we sort of have to suck up that we had a less than ideal d1 in terms of productivity, make the highest EV lynch we can and hope for the best and a better d2

Ok so I have slept almost none and have a child that has vomitted all over 2 beds. :| I have "read up" this morning but honestly i can't think straight. I'll try coffee and see if that helps

Darthe is a trouble spot and if Pral moves up the list he moves back down to bottom 5

I really don't know how to take the newer stuff re: him refusing to share his thoughts bc he feels unappreciated or w/e

I don't remember if this Darthe behavior is similar to the behavior in spoopy mafia over on VS. He was very distant and not engaged there as well. Meh. He has me flip flopping all over the place here now.

Also, Alanna has an avatar!

Eh, I thought that in 90's which is why I shot him and was wrong

Best I can say is Darthe is a very self aware player and I can't read him while he plays like this

kk. Fair. I think he can be left alone for the rest of D1 anyway. I'll be posting thoughts very soon.

People have very high expectations of me, which is sort of a "is what it is" kind of thing

Bertstaregif

I have high expectations of me too and potentially overestimate the expectations others have :D

I would take it as a personal favour if everyone would stop talking about how little there is to work with and actually try to do something
