Official game rules. Participation indicates your intention to abide by these rules to the best of your ability.

 

1. Don't talk about the game outside of the game thread, unless you are told you can.
2. If you ARE allowed to talk outside of the game thread, you are only allowed to do so at the times specified with the individuals specified. I must be included in all communication.
3. You may not edit or delete posts in the game thread for any reason at any time.
4. You may not post screenshots of, or directly quote your role PM, mod communication, or any other game-related communication that originated outside of the game thread.
5. You are expected to be familiar with the rules, and you are expected to abide by them even if you think they are incorrect.
6. You are expected to behave civilly.
7. You are expected to be active to the best of your ability and play to your win condition.
8. You may NOT claim your character. You may claim your role and/or alignment as you see fit as long as you do not break Rule #4. That does not necessarily mean it is in your best interest to do so.
9. The game will operate purely on a deadline lynch system - meaning the most popular vote will be lynched. Ties will be resolved via RNG between tied players. Phases will end at 12:30 PM Eastern time. Posting at 12:31 will result in a warning; posting at 12:32 will result in a modkill. Each player only gets one warning.
10. Day Phases will be 48 hours. Night Phases will be 24 hours. Any outside communication will be both day and night phase. Thread will be closed during the night phase.
11. You may change your vote and night abilities as often as you like. I will only accept the "newest" submission for night actions.
12. Rules are subject to change without prior notification.
13. Please use the tags to vote for somebody - [ v ]Simonds[ /v ] , [ /unvote ] without the spaces.  You do not need to unvote to change votes, but it is appreciated, because your moderator spends a lot of time under the influence of alcohol and attractive women.  By attractive women, he means his wife - and you can tell her he said that.  In fact, he would prefer if you did.  Be a bro <3
14. I reserve the right to modkill you for anything I want, without warning, at any time. Don't piss me off.

I will be joined in modding by Zander - any decision/statement he makes carries the same weight as if it were said by me. This will be a semi-open setup game.

-There will be at least one vanilla role in the game.  There will be at least one active role in the game.

-There will not be any vote manipulation, recruiting, or any role that is required to die in order to win.

-There will not be any role that allows a member of another alignment access (either limited or full) to private communication they would otherwise not be privy to (e.g., a mafia spy).

This clock is turquoise.  I wasn't really sure what turquoise looked like, and what I kind of though tit looked like is what "cyan" looked like.  Coincidentally, Cyan is a character in a different Final Fantasy game (FF6, which is the game most often in contention with FF7 for the title of "best Final Fantasy game").  Alas, because he's not in the game, he's not in THIS game and therefore this bit of trivia is completely useless.

hello everyone my name is cory and i have been wolf-free for 2 months.

 

i had my first experiencing with wolfing when i was eighteen years old. i was with some friends and they introduced me to the game "mafia" and after a few games i drew "mafia" and i still remember to this day how i felt; powerful, omnipotent, callous... it was something i hadn't experienced. by the time i was twenty i was wolfing maybe three or four times a week. sometimes i mixed up which games i was wolfing and which games i wasn't. i would wolf during family get-togethers, weddings, parties; i even remember wolfing right before a funeral. people no longer trusted me. my friendships began to deteriorate. i had a relationship end after i refused to stop wolfing in front of my then-girlfriend's parents. i had spiraled out of control.

 

it was only after a long period of chaos soul-searching that i found RAND.ORG - a beacon of light to guide me out of the abyss. progress was slow at first, but with the help of RAND.ORG suddenly i went from wolfing three times a week to wolfing three times a month, the twice a month, you understand. baby steps, incremental progress. with the courage and help of RAND.ORG and my friends and loved ones i've been able to reduce my wolfing to the point where it no longer damages my life and relationships. in fact, i stand by you now whole again, knowing that RAND.ORG would not fail me, that i would continue my wolf-free ways well into this game and into the future, and i have not been let down.
