Also I had a thought last night. The post RTE made about scum saying out of the Turin/Zander thing. If he knew who the scum were, he could have seen that they already were, and that was a signal.

I don't like that Niniel is pushing the idea that rte didn't know who the scum were. Of course it's possible, but it's not a possibility I think we should pursue. Trying to discredit the idea of a reason to scum hunt just feels wrong to me.

Niniel put in a ton of work D2.  BFG was certainly more active than before, but she never reached #fullBFG before subbing out.  RTE could have easily left her in orange and Tsuki in green.

Who knows how much of that final read list was composed in the expectation that he was going down though.  Like the Tsuki thing in particular looks like a calculated WIFOM move that RTE didn't mind making because he didn't expect to be alive to have to answer for it.

-1 Eldrick - PAGE 9, POST 169 - Says that, even though Shad hasn't done anything scummy, he will vote him because of past games.  When would past games ever be a good way to judge someone in THIS completely different game?  Not bad to keep an eye on someone for this but to vote them before even giving them a chance to SHOW their alignment seems to nudge me the wrong way. Soon after, BFG asked to expand and he says "I don't trust him, and won't trust what he says on its own. I need other people to give me a town read on him before I can consider it myself." which is fine but again, why VOTE that way unless meaning it as a joke vote and now that posts are seeming to begin to get real it isn't the time for joke votes (If this is one) IMO.

#88 @Rey In regards to meta-play, it's been heavily used recently, more among some players than others. Sometimes it's used to make really accurate cases, sometimes it totally screws us over, so it just depends. I think it's a good tool to get some early reads in a game though. If we know how people generally react, it's somewhere to start from.

Probably sitting null-townish on Dice for his responses. Townish on Zander. Shad gets negative points for his light entrance, something isn't sitting right there. Lenlo (-) for that awk post I mentioned earlier. Tsuki had some weird reads I want him to expand on so that I know what he's saying. Most everyone else is null. Bold is his reasoning. I agree with it and it is one of the things that perks my ears up too. (i.e. Zander using the PM thing to atempt to hard clear himself in GnD) You see it as alignment neutral for Zander specifically. He sees it as a general tell. ( at least that is my take on it) 

 

Also the underlined, You see something that sits odd you push to see what develops. I can appreciate that.

Actually I'd like to know this myself. You recently touched base on dice and zander, but you haven't given any reason for Tsuki IIRC.

 

TBH, Tsuki is the most YOLO of the three. It is only the bold below. He acknowledges Dice claiming ghost but doesn't seem to want to pursue it in any meaningful way.

@Turin, your problem with him seems to be that he doesn't have a problem with dice soft claiming a ghost. I personally know this isn't an issue. As I have already mentioned, I am a town ghost. It must just be flavor.

I've been reading bits and pieces here and there, but I don't really have time to devote to reading the full game until Friday afternoon/Saturday. If it is as you say so that several of you find this slot suspicious I ask you not to hammer me until I can get back and talk to you guys. I'm going away in 1 1/2 hour from now on a camping trip with all of my classes. Before that time I won't have time to sit here and play with you guys, so this is it from me until my Friday afternoon/evening. Look at the timestamps. Eldrick is saying that he and shad both got a townread on the same person. But shad had the town read BEFORE Eldrick stated that he didn't trust Shad. I find this very odd given that it appears to be Eldrick's reason for unvoting and "feeling better" about Shad. It makes me think that the entire "I don't trust Shad" thing was fake.
