Oh god I am finally running this.

RULES

1. Do not discuss the game outside of the game thread and mod-designated channels.

2. You may not edit or delete posts in the game thread for any reason at any time.

3. You may not post screenshots of or directly quote your role PM, mod communication, or any other game-related communication that originated outside of the game thread.

4. You are expected to behave civilly.

5. You may claim whatever you like. Mafia have fake claims.

6. This is a Hybrid Hammer game. Ties will result in a random kill between the trains. You may vote No Lynch.

7. Days will be 36 hours and nights will be 12. If you wish to request an extension, please do so via PM, not in thread.

8. You must Unvote before voting again.

9. This is a basic, open set-up. There will be 1 Seer with an n0 peek, 9 vanilla towns, and 3 mafia Goons. There will be no posting in thread during the night phase, beginning approximately 30 minutes after a lynch result is revealed.

10. Votes are locked at LYLO.

11. I think I copypastad most of this from Seph's game ages ago so blame him.

Scum chat is 24/7, n0 peek is random VT, I'd initially intended no night chat in thread but unless people want that I think I'll just make it 24/7 too.

Yeah there needs to be no night chat in this particular set-up.

 

Mostly because if the seer holds his peek until end of night phase, everyone can leave cover at the end of night instead of during day, making it much more difficult for the wolves to seer hunt.

I agree with Clov and Cory. I didn't used to get why there should be no night talk.... but after EXTENSIVE explanations... I get it now lol

I hadn't realized there was a mechanical reason for it and I was thinking leaving it open would be more accommodating for different timezones. Closed at night works for me.

 

I will be implementing my original idea in that regard then, unless people see a mechanical reason not to: there will be a 30 minute "dusk" phase where you can post after the lynch.

 

I always felt lack of 'celebration' opportunities was a bit deflating as town and removed an opportunity for something I can actually fake well as scum.
