Hi everyone. Sorry I went MIA I was using literally all my free time to watch what was going on in Baltimore.

Not an excuse, just telling you where I've been.

Gonna spend a few minutes catching up but if there's anything specific you'd like addressed let me know.

Oh hello. Listen folks the thing is. If you're town you simply don't know for sure who the other town are. You make your own arguments and follow your own path depending on what you believe.

 

To say someone is stupid or dense because they don't have the same thought process as you is unfair and uncalled for. I have never called anyone stupid or dense. Neither to I imply these things. To say I do is factually incorrect.

 

If as mafia a player uses that terminology to pressure another player to change their thought process I think I would have very little respect for their playing style.

 

Personal attacks and critics are plainly wrong in my eyes.

 

AJ you say you think I'm Town. I am. I do not know who the other town are. I think you are not town. To state I think this because I'm dense is a personal attack. Personal attacks are not acceptable. Feel free to counter my arguments and present your own.

rudeness aside, lets look at this...your linear logic argument is just an attempt to nullify her read. That townies get lynched happens to everyone no matter what methods they use. To suggest that she is right <50% is probably factually incorrect. She has probably caught more mafia on D1 than anyone on DM. Just because you don't agree with her methods is no reason to discount the results.

 

You think that Seph lynch is a bad one, you want Eldrick? Give more than you have so far. Convince us that Eldrick is a better lynch than well, you now. I think that Seph is pushed down a bit ATM as your behavior in his defense screams mafia.

 

BTW, your stances were all pretty soft. Seph defense and lynch inactives. As mafia you would know if Seph is town. so you could defend him vigorously and be able to crow about how right you were. So when the people leading his lynch come at you or a teammate, you point at that to try to discredit.

 

Lynching inactivity is a easy position to take especially since you weren't really looking to lynch them, just apply pressure. Which frankly makes no sense. If they know you are nit really going to lynch them then what pressure is there. You have to be willing to carry out the threat in order for it to have an effect.

To keep things in perspective, you're bound to get it right every now and then when you poke everything that walks or talks. What's funny to me is that before today the theory was that I was protecting Seph because we were mafia together. Now by using evidence from the thread that is there for all to see suddenly I am mafia who knows that Seph is town. It's silly.

 

Do your own due diligence. I'm not going to hold your hand. Eldrick doesn't have much to work with compared to Seph but I think he is suspect. I am contemplating moving to Snow just because he is creeping up for me after last night.

 

As far as my stances go you are marginalizing them big time.

Let's see.

 

Don't like the game Ithi and Turin are playing with each other. Find it distracting.

 

AJ seems a little more laid back this game than the last time with crossed paths fwiw.

 

Looks like Notbob has been quiet as well which is normal for him early game so that's not a warning sign yet.

 

I see Turin opposed lynching inactives. Makes me wonder if maybe one of his teammates was inactive?

Also noticed that he dodged the question about whether it was just Notbob or all inactives he was against lynching and then when called on it said he'd lynch me for irony.

I appreciate the irony and wouldn't have been upset had that happened but I will note that he stood in the way of Notbob's lynch for inactivity but seemed ok with mine so maybe there is something there after all. To be fair though he chose John Snow over me although I think the relevant part here is Notbob.

 

Thane seems to be going with the flow to me which I don't really like. Maybe it's just me but nothing he's saying really stands out to me as townie who's trying to find scum.

 

Ithi strikes me as legitimately frustrated town. 

 

Seph looks like he's trying hard. That's basically a null tell but I like the effort and recommend keeping him around for a couple days at least.

Yeah I don't have as much of a grasp on the game as I probably should right now due to my absence but I think it's clear that I'm mainly suspicious of Turin so I'm gonna gun there and hope for the best.

I still think there's scum on the early ithi train. It happened too quickly for it to all be town.

 

The reason I'm still suspicious of seph is he's too eager to join a train. When it happened on the notbob one, it was a red flag for me.

I can see them both as mafia. AJ feels like he is taking the role Cory played in that last BT game. running interference for Seph when he stepped in it early.

Aj by no means looks mafia to me, I see a point of ithi's as he could be defending me to look better when I flip. However I will say this, the post I wrote about ithi, while it is how I felt was written very poorly, if he was mafia I felt he would of jumped ship here. He is a Strong town read imo. I have tress and sooh here as well.

 

 

Natural or not OMGUS is anti town. And with regards to your other post the fact that has a mentor who's job it is to keep him from making newbie mistakes like that should be kept in mind.

 

The anti town comment doesn't sit right with me. Also as for the mentor, Dice is not there to control everything I say, He helps me from posts I messed up with, to reads. We are on a different time zone, so he usually will only be on a short while with me. I feel like that is almost a jab at Dice, and I do not appreciate it.

 

Why seph? Because he was my first choice and I've had more interaction from him. Things have changed since though.

I didn't see this until I already posted, I saw ithi receive personnel attacks last game, when she was attempting to be pro town. IDK IDK IDK your play confuses me so much ithi, all of that feel genuine and is the fist post I have really liked from you in awhile.

 

The next two days are my fiancee's day's off, as they are the only one's I usually get with her I will be around less. I plan to check in every couple hours or so to keep up or answer anything though.

Eldrick I specified why I voted him, It was not anything serious imo, I had no intention of lynching a inactive which I have stated for the third time now. BESIDES HIM, there was Tress which I was making points about. as for voting her, yes it makes it easier to vote people once someone is with you, and as I trust Tress more than anyone inside and outside this game I find it all null, and I don't care how you perceive it.

 

note to self- when you make a point, you better vote or everyone thinks your jumping on a train. Learn something new everyday.

As far as blazing your own path and what not, I would say that's exactly what I have been doing.

 

I have already made my arguments, which apparently brought you to your conclusion. If you want, I would suggest you re-read yesterday. Take an introspective look at how your badgering might've effected Seph despite his efforts to be understood. Watch it progress until finally he is fed up and calls you out on your unreasonableness. If you think afterwards that I am still mafia for recognizing a villager getting flailed for crap and stating as much then fine. We can proceed thusly.

OK, first... [unvote] for now.

 

Second, I've managed to catch a cold that was going around the office and called in sick.  On the agenda today: DayQuil, Mucinex, Emergen-C, and napping.  Also some ISO/re-reading, preferably after the nap, because the coffee didn't do enough to clear the head.

 

Expect a reads list later once my head is wrapped around things better.

I only added the part about snow because I felt there was a possible reason to lynch him outside of his activity level. The thing about you was a pure joke as your stance is to lynch inactive players on principle.

You said I could tell you myself if I was unhappy with your description of me and I have. You've now advised that doesn't matter.

 

I think people are well aware of my stance on this and to compare my voting for seph with you calling me dense is not accurate.

 

There are many valid reasons for disagreeing with a person but calling them dense should not be one of them.

It seems to me you've done the linking yourself.

You stood in the way of him being lynched using the excuse that you don't like lynching inactives but then you seemed fine with lynching John Snow or myself. What is it exactly that sets John and I apart from Notbob that made you differentiate between us like that?

I've just got home now and I'll go through my reasons for seph and Eldrick. I was also going to do Zander but I think I've changed my mind and will look at Sooh instead.

 

Sorry it's taken so long seph. I can be a tad mercurial as a post when I see things on mobile. I appreciate your patience.

 

While you're waiting perhaps you could let me know if you think I'm mafia still, as you seem to be a bit less certain now I'm not voting you and I'm wondering why that would make a difference.
