Hmmm the description on the results thing didn't sound much like me, but I tried Mish's and got INFP-A and the description there seems a little closer (sorry Shad :) ) although the INTP description on that site there seems pretty close to me as well

Or I was biased by my recent streak of pragmatism?

Possible. I'm naturally an F (INFJ), but because I grew up in an all T family (with two extreme T parents), I can exhibit T behaviors. But they're kind of learned behaviors.

I become overwhelmed and exhausted just being around people... Nevermind talking to them ugh. I'm also currently hiding in a corner on break at work

Me too heh. My sister is an introvert who likes to spend a lot of time with people - she has a close circle of friends and has to spend a lot of time with them. So yeah, introverts can enjoy hanging with people. But even she, if she's had a really rough day and is tired or stressed, prefers to stay in rather than going out with others.

Me on the other hand - extreme introvert. I don't even like people lol :P

I feel ya Alanna, I always knew we were related

People are the worst. The other week my friend and I went to the Spring Fling down town and there were sooo many people; I could only stay for MAYBE 20 minutes. It's just so overwhelming. I also have a bit of social anxiety but that's another matter entirely

I think for me it's just that I don't like people on average

I really do enjoy spending time with people I care about and people I am emotionally invested in I have no problem sacrificing my time / comfort / energy to make sure they are 100%, but I'm also aware that I lose steam the more I'm with people so if I don't have any significant attachment I can get resentful of the interaction

It's not so much about "losing energy" as it is "am I spending my energy intelligently with people who deserve it?"

I think in general this is one of those things I need to work on doing smarter in my personal life

I understand spending that energy wisely, but sometimes it gets to the point that I literally can't be talked to. And when you have a friend that's a talker, it's hard to be near them when you want silence and every word is driving up my anxiety.

Unfortunately work + school means I can only sanely be social one night a week because any more than that is my limit

Lol I'm pretty naïve/rose tinted glasses about most people on a general level. I'm quite reserved about letting someone close though.
