Wombat was recruited night 2, but I didn't think to remove the item from the list for another phase or two. So, that wouldn't have helped you anyway.

I expected my co mod to be helping tally the points. :P Other than that, I expected more bloodshed, not people carpeting away every night. lol

And you're welcome. I'd love to see someone else try something like this so I could play in it.

LOL Wombat, I am reading thru the mafia QT and I just got to the part where you got up in the middle of the night to play XD

I was recruited N2, n00bs.

I didn't notice it gone from the list until the other day. :p

Yeah but Darthe slipping scum pretty made it clear they could have recruited whenever.

I never even slipped I just got caught between the 20k pr's sent my way.

Darthe, did you try to kill me N1?

Yup.  How you doin'?

Okay.  I hope this doesn't offend you so apologies in advance if it does.  This game was doomed for mafia from the beginning, something that I can accept since it was experimental.  However, I can't ignore that it was doubly doomed by and large by your implementation of the setup.  Telling town when the PR was gone, telling them when particular actions were taken and when certain affects happened on people in ways that their role PM's didn't tell them were all you directly influencing the game in favor of the town hugely.  Adding in several PR's that mafia couldn't readily block, avoid or mislead without hurting themselves also greatly biased a setup that I think could be done in a fair way and additionally you didn't have concise statements about what powers did which led to additional confusion in the game.  In one instance in particular (meeko) that hurt us greatly.

I don't think that my team would have won in any case as we rolled three inactive players but I do think that these things would have assured a town victory by endgame in all but the most barren of landslides such as if Len, Wombat and myself rolled mafia with Verb and then recruited the next highest post getter and NK'd everyone N1.

I agree. I was open in the beginning that the balance rested in the hands of the players. The mafia even started with 25% and then got a recruit. The inactivity of your team really hurt you.

On another note, Darthe, I never really payed attention to your play when playing games with you. You are more talented at mafia than I knew. You impressed me.

Sad I couldn't keep up this past week. Forgot I was visiting family out of state, sorry about that.

Also I lied thrice. I really was Grumpy >.>

I was hoping someone else would pick a 3d char do I could call them on it.

character claiming was pointless and the discussion on the issue really derailed most of the game for me.  In fact, most of the discussion D1 and D2 made me less inclined to play because it was spam.

Just my 2cents

I'm glad I missed most of that discussion as I wasn't here then, lol

Sorry, meant to say "flipping."

As for balance, I don't really care that much.  I knew this game was going to be extremely difficult for scum.  Ithi and Key ran a Harry Potter game a while back that was much worse than this imo.  Scum were given 1/4 of the points, so we couldn't even spam to catch up, and anyone who saved enough points could actually buy a permanent role.  I think this game definitely had problems with the ability pricing and how the points were awarded, but I've seen much worse and it was labeled as experimental.  Just sucks to roll scum and/or get recruited in this one.
