Now it is easier to make vote and unvotes from your phone.  I know lots of people messed it up, and some mods won't count it.  So this helps in that regard.

Not good enough for two reasons:

 

1) it won't catch unvotes

2) the "vote:" sequence can appear naturally in flowing text

Those are kinda weak reasons Csarmi... you can independantly search for unvotes, and I really don't think people would type out "vote:" in normal situations as often without an actual vote attached to it.

 

Here's a question I have tho that could improve on it:

 

@Verbal: Is there a way to make it so that the tags disappear when in nestled quotes? Will make the votes stand out even easier for mods

No they're not Despo. Being able to just ctrl-f a single string for both votes and unvotes is a huge help. Being able to search using the built-in search to do a look up too.

 

Making the tag work in a way that also helps searches should be easy (pretty sure I understand how it works) and helpful.

You could just make it so that unvoting isn't required to place a new vote. I always felt that was somewhat of an unnecessary step- like something added solely for the purposes of letting people "vote fail" on purpose.

 

I think using ctrl f to find "vote:" or the search feature to find the same will work pretty well.
