The despo/csarmi thing looked like a great way to distract from scum hunting.  Their little argument had a good chance of dominating day 1 talk.  Falls right into the scum play book.

I actually had Csarmi's claim and Des's reaction as null, especially from Csarmi after he subbed from the game.

 

Only thing that pinged from Csarmi was using Pral's statement as a LD excuse, given that he's claimed recently in at least one other game with no pressure that seemed strange. Wait and see how AJ plays for that.

He likes to use me when scum.  He'll give a town read on me in hopes of not getting into a protracted argument.  When town...he reads me as scum often and is not afraid of me focusing on him.

Can we please have ONE game without you two arguing like little girls about who's prettiest? It's getting real old, real fast. I like you both, but right now I just wanna take your both by the ears and bang your heads together, but it's driving me crazy that you guys have to have this pissing contest every single game lately. I almost dropped out of this one when you signed up Csarmi, because I didn't know if I would be able to stand yet another game of you two going after each other.

 

Do go after each other if you do find something scummy. But stop it with the fighting over personal things. This is a mafia game, not the "Des & Csarmi"-show.

 

So this is the post that lead to a WTL

 

Des looks really paranoid on a readthrough, salami looks sloppy and emotional as hell and I see mish going back to the mediator thingshe does. I would lynch any of them.

 

 

 

You would lynch me for wanting this game not to end up like Machine of Souls almost did? Good thinking Darthe.

 

Three things wrong with this.  

 

1) I would lynch you for attempting to mediate.  That isn't a town action, it is the action of someone attempting to fake being town.  I can explain this in more detail if needed.

2) Town won machine of souls and that is an entirely different scenario where we both knew who the mafia was and we all HAD to cooperate to win so we couldn't test the waters like we can here, making this argument logical fallacy at best and manipulative at worst.

3) This reads like a passive aggressive WHYME FRYME.  So with that in mind unvote vote Mish

 

 

This makes it look like the primary reason for voting Mish is 'whyme fryme'

 

I'm not trying to mediate Darthe; I'm trying to tell them both to shut the fudge up about whatever issues it seems they have between them, so we can have a fun game that doesn't get affected by it. I'm here to play mafia, not watch quarreling.

 

And I said ALMOST. There was a good while in Machine of Souls I had absolutley no hope we'd make it, because several people were refusing to co-operate. It almost ruined the fun of the game for me then, and I didn't want this game to be the same.

This sounds like some linkage broseph. I'm just asking you to clarify. You called her mediating a scumtell, her response was "I'm not mediating" and then you unvote to switch to Despo.

 

I'm asking why or how that changed your mind.

 

 

It is.  Linking is valid, people just misuse it because they don't know how to read and critically analyze.  It is generally misplaced titling of interaction.  Real linking is a logical form of conjecture and must apply to situations rather than people.  I recognized that she believed her words and that lessened my suspicion to the point that I did not think it warranted a vote.  Whether or not her responses are or, in this case, aren't satisfactory is secondary to the way that she says them.  Simply stated I read her post as being very genuine and mafia are not genuine.

 

This seems to explain the unvote, not the catching heat thing?
