@Des - Why are you voting TG now over Tina?

 

I don't personally like the TG lynch idea. I don't find him scummy and a lot of the votes on him I don't understand. I have no idea what Theo was saying in her post (name-calling, fake scum hunting?), Xthrax is voting on a false premise (from what I gather he's voting TG for his stance on inactive players although TG hasn't pushed this stance to lynch/FOS anyone) and Err just says that TG is 'scummy' without bringing up anything specific.

 

Less than 20 hours to the DL, but I would really hate to pile up on a player I don't think is scum just for consolidation. Darthe is the safer option, obviously, but I could go for a lynch on Err too.

 

1. His potential set-up slip with the Godfather mention that he didn't really refute at all.

2. His vote on TG for basically nothing but a blanket statement. "He's scummy."

 

I'll be home and able to post again sometime in the early afternoon tomorrow but probably not anytime before noon, so I will change my vote if need be. I'd like some input from other players about who they think would be a good lynch.

 

Well out of all the player, only TG feels suspicious and more so after his response to my vote. It could be a mislynch, not saying it's guaranteed that he's scum-also could be the other way around. From what I understand a lot in mafia is not guaranteed unless substaniated by solid proof.

I had a vote I was comfortable with and I felt satisfied with where I was. That being said, DL is creeping on us and we need to consolidate. So I'm gonna unvote, vote Err. I think he was trying to divert us all into a discussion of setup, and it looked like he gave away too much info that he wouldn't know if town.

I'm on it for competing trains.  The people on my train seem to have the following reasons, summarized sarcastically by me:

 

Theo - OMGUS

X - Ambiguous reasoning, but seems to disagree with me about lurkers

Err - No reason

Des - To put pressure on

GE - Said, in bold, I justified my vote with inactivity, then said he never said that, and voting me for it

 

Basically, my train is awful, and if we don't have a competing train near deadline then I will get lynched due to laziness. 

 

 

Xthrax, question for you.  If a player does not participate in the game by posting their thoughts, reads, etc, does that help town or hurt town?  Remember, town's job is to try and get as much info as possible about each player to make an informed decision.

Also, at one point in time I was in 5 games because 2 of them started WAY before I thought they would. I said votes, but meant fos. I think you're fairly scummy and your posts aren't really that informative. You're headed for a lynch based on your awful vote for inactives Day 1 agenda cause it comes off as lazy scum.

Okay GE, let me as you the same question.  Given that it is town's job to collect as much info as possible, does it help town or hurt town when a player does not participate and post?

Also, to be clear, since you can't seem to read and keep making things up... 

 

At no point did I say that we needed to lynch those low posters today.  Nor did I FOS them.  I posted the low post counts to push them to activity.  Then, when you jumped all over me about it, we got into a general discussion about lurking, etc.  I don't think we need to lynch low posters today, but by D3 if people aren't participating and posting then it needs to be considered.

 

Also, I did not, at any point, vote anyone for a low post count.

5.5 hours left. Both TG and Err are at L-2.

 

I did originally find Err to be somewhat scummy, but the speed with which this counterstain has built up makes me a little uncomfortable. Makes me wonder if this push is mafia led. My vote stays on TG for now. I think we need claims from our two trains. Still time to switch to Darthe if needed, but a decision will have to be made on that soon if we do go for it.

Fwiw, TG's responses don't look too bad the last little bit of the game. I'd prob rather us have a train on Tina right now instead of him. However, I must say again that the Err train kinda came out of nowhere and yet built fast- makes me wonder that's because it has some scummies on it who didn't wanna vote for TG and were waiting for a viable alternative.
