November 5, 2005.  

 

London burned.  In the streets the rioters threw shouts and rocks at the police, fought from behind the porcelain smirk of anonymity.  Chaos ruled.  You ran with the others, mask blocking the corners of your vision, wishing only that you had drawn blades beside the great man himself.  He was sorely missed and tonight was a night of destiny, the culmination of nearly a thousand years subjugation and disorder coming to an end.  Ahead the giant clockworks reflected an eerie glow, cast it out on the riverbank as if in castigation of the flames.  Parliament denied your power.  It would not be so, not so long as Will had any saying in your Fates.  The clockworks groaned, the flame rose higher, ahead to the right a window burst outwards to the fall of a burning man.  His flesh reeked in the air yet his face was hidden by the plastic of a mask melting on it.  Another brother dead for the cause.  Fury overcame you.  The clockworks slumped sideways and crashed into the river.

The riot group split when a group of police began shooting rubber bullets and some gas into the crowd.  It was terrible and choked you up.  You had to escape somewhere.  Anywhere at all would be better.  A woman's arm reached out and snatched your sleeve.  You were pulled into a dark building like a rag-doll.  She was strong.  Oh god, she had a knife!  Suddenly she froze up, She stared intently into the darkness by your shoulder.  What the hell was going on?  The room was frigid.  Then her eyes began to bleed.  Her face shrunk inwards, as if all of the blood in her body was rushing out of her eyes, ears, and nose.  It was the single most terrifying and inexplicable experience of your life.  Moments later she fell to the side and crumpled.

You stood in horror for a long moment.  What was going on? WHAT THE HELL WAS GOING ON? This was supposed to be a moment of empowerment, a revolution for the people, not some.. supernatural horror fest.  You began to back away from the body and thudded into something solid.  So odd.  The door should have been behind you.  When you turned Death stood before you.

1. Verb - Now leaning slightly towards scum again, would either be a GF or showed as town because of role tomfoolery.

2. Chuckles - Town, but wish he'd played just a slightly stronger game for us. Could pull off some cool moves now that it's endgame tho

9. BG - Was leaning town, now not so sure. Numbers theory and other stuff seemed to keep distracting town yesterday. Also RB'er common mafia role

Verbal - eh I dunno. Honestly seems a little closer to his town meta, and his latest reads actually seem to make more sense now (Lenlo and Krak). Could be town, just off his game somewhat for a little while.

 

BG - Had a town read for a while, but his hijinks yesterday really seemed to help swing people over to Tiink. Could have just been derptown moments on his part (he isn't infallible), but because he's so wily he could make outright scummy behavior look like derptown moments better than almost anyone.

 

Hallia - Lurker/fluff poster. I know Im sounding like a broken record, but I wish she would actually try and contribute more in games so others have a chance to get a better read on her. Her coasting and skating like she does rankles me more than bad town play on other's parts.

Mist in broad daylight.

 

The quaint woman appeared to be no threat to any of you but something told you each otherwise.  She had a cold beauty about her, an air of utter and uncompromising control of everything.  Some of the people seemed anxious to find her standing their in the crosswalk, nude as the day is born.  A single tattoo of a golden dragon crawled down from her abdomen, surrounding a single symbol, before snaking down into the thick white mists that covered her lower half.  

The mists came from her.

 

You all knew what you had to do. This was unnatural, evil even.  She must be stopped.

 

Quick as a flash the man to your left drew a pistol and fired a single round.  It split the air with a crack and vanished into her abdomen, piercing the dragon.  She began to take a slow steady step forward, a wide luxurious smile splitting her face as the bullet hole sealed up. Instantly all men and women raised their firearms and fired.  The woman's hands rose but it was too much for her.  She fell.
