Strikes me as a comment that looks to be saying something without actually saying something. Hence, it pings as scum often try to post for appearance compared to town who just post.

 

 

I agree somewhat.  Vote spreading is a phenomenon to be noted but it's hardly interesting.  it's pretty hard to draw any conclusions from it this early too.

 

What I find interesting is people still just checking in and joke voting when we have a few suspicions being thrown around. Granted, I know its not much, but pressure early on gleans info for later. The Tink-Player back and forth, and Bob, and Kaylee, pardon any linking. Im not sure about the former two, but as for the latter, I still dont like how Bob changed his vote so willy nilly after fixing the formatting on his previous vote. It was a matter of thirty minutes between fixing and revoting. Not much really happened between then. And as for Kaylee, all I see is her playing the Good Townie role. While that bothers me, I dont see too much in it. And so, I placed my vote in Tinker.

Apparantly you're not there with me 100%... Because Kaylee is not on any lynch. That was the point. He said he disliked people who didn't vote, and voted Kaylee because she hadn't voted. There were several who hadn't voted yet at that stage.

 

 

 

Thorum: I still don't understand why those things would make Kaylee your logical choice. So someone had voted her, but she hadn't placed a vote yet. You think that is voteworthy because...?

 

Mish points out that Hally misspoke, which Hally never commented on. (This stood out because she tends to pay better attention when town.)

 

 

 

Because when you say "If X flips town, we should look at Y tomorrow because of reasons", then you're taking the responsibility away from yourself; you've linked those two players, making player Y responsible for X's flip. Now if you're mafia and both X and Y is town, wich you'd know, then your hands are clean and you have nudged town in the direction you want. That is scummy. Capiche?

My history (short):

I played a lot of mafia games from the first one till about a year ago, with later games less activity due to rl. I tried returning the end of last year, but had to quit WAY too soon due to the same rl issues. With things appearing to have calmed down, I'm trying again. However, I play to have fun. Read what wombat says about the consequences :).

Kaylee, your answer on my post (hidden in the huge multiquote) only makes sense as a way to set me up for later. It bears little to no relation to the truth (unless you've been REALLY inattentive, which I don't think). Hence, my vote stays. You only had a joke vote on you before my vote, Tiink's case was nowhere near serious (think out of the box, instead of following those 'rules' to distinguish mafia. Mafia knows those as well, and will do it's best to avoid them. More so than non-mafia players, even). And I've explained why I voted you in (very much) detail. Do I have to repeat myself?

 

What I don't get: how is 'setting up a lynch' a mafia thing, in the way I did it?
