I said what I feel. I think you are trying to project an air of flippancy, come across all causal that you have nothing to fear and are over it anyway, but a town person just straight up asking for a lynch to be proved right? A town person wanting to be killed to get out of the game?

 

Town would ask for a replacement, and not add drama to the case pool. Mafia would definitely look for places to add drama to throw everyone off the scent.

 

You copped a scan too I believe, which makes you a great candidate for possession.

I personally am not a fan of the martyr play, whether town or mafia are pulling it. 

Wasn't a martyr play. It'd be doing me a favor honestly. As it stands I see no way to win. My schedule is about to be completely full from June to July (had not expected that when I signed up for 2 games...) I gave a few people I absolutely want to see lynched Rand and Cloud. However there was never any body willing to follow through. We town are beating ourselves this game, that's all there is to it.

 

 

First of all, sorry for being gone so long, I was swamped and was barely holding onto modding my own game.  I am all caught up now.

 

So I AM in this game after all lol. I still don't have my role/alignment pm, so for now I'll start catching up under the presumption that I am third party unlynchable unkillable Survivor. Should be a challenge.

What I don't like about this day is the people that jumped in after the Wombat death scene and started pointing to people that would have had motives for shooting Wombat. Reeks like framing. Also surprised to see Verbal back off Leelou, since he sold it moderately well yesterday that she was a good vote.

I think...if Peace were scum he'd rather try to beat Des in a debate rather than kill him and WIFOM. It's not like 4 votes is a huge threat with 11 needed to lynch. I also don't much like the company I'm in on his train. I'll leave you be for now Peace but I have to say I don't think much of your play so far this game.

Again with the WIFOM, trying to frame or not frame people because of another death is not good play.  It could have easily been Peace if he felt he was fighting a losing battle, and then he could just bring up that he wouldn' be so obvious.  I would continue looking at Peace's play instead.

I actually think that this means that he is not possessed, at least not now.  It would not work to his advantage to have this be common knowledge as people would work towards lynching him for revenge killing.  Trust him a little more because of this.

I particularly don't like the logic at the end regarding how Peace telling us he killed Despo makes him town still. If someone with the vig ability took a shot, then got converted it makes total sense to admit to shooting someone. Nobody is going to "revenge kill", and admitting it is the best sort of bluff for scum, one rooted in the truth. 

 

I feel like Nolder is definitely town still. EP's "Ape not being Ape" case was garbage, and Nolder called him on it. Nolder knows that when my life gets buys, it gets VERY busy and he also knows I signed up for this game reluctantly. So half-assed participation is not outside of the realm of possibility from me. I usually bust Nolder when he's scum, so he could have taken EP's case as an opportunity to oust me. He didn't. 

 

Of the two of Rand and Nolder, I'd vote Rand. 

 

I also feel like EP took a crack at me, only AFTER I narrowed the aperture on who we should be looking at (those viewed via FLIR). EP had zero suspicion of me before I suggested that. Then all of a sudden he's rolling out a false-meta case on me. 

 

If you want to come at me, case me on my play, not on the pre-occupation of my RL. EVERYONE that knows me and has played with me, KNOWS I'd never intentionally hide behind RL.

Like I said I've never played a game with you in which you have had rl stuff come up, so I was basing off all the games I had played in with you. If I were right and you were mafia, you would be the biggest threat we have as town. So I went with a gut feeling.

 

And in the games you've played with me, what have I done that's so different than what I'm doing here in this game when I've got the time to put in? Be specific. 

 

When this game began I was assertive, in fact I was the first to vocally drive a train. I believe it was on Rand on D1. I had about 3-4 people I was looking at as suspects early on, each of whom ended up dead quickly. I felt a bit like my suspect list was being picked off one at a time to possibly set up a frame job on me, but then at the time it was going on, nobody ever tried to pull that on me. Regardless, since I've been back I've picked up right where I left off, I ALWAYS try to come up with a logical way to narrow, and then hunt from my narrowed pool. 

 

The logic that we should be looking at those that have been targeted by the FLIR camera, but not killed, is sound. 

 

THAT is when you came at me with this bogus meta, that you've quickly back-pedaled about. Stop making this about whether you have or haven't played with me when I've got RL stuff going on. I barely know you, and I've had RL stuff going on for the past 12 months non-stop, with my wedding, planning it from boston to indiana back and forth, my sister's wedding in new york, my own bachelor party in ny, i travel a lot for work, i am a creative director in a deadline driven role, my wife now pregnant, my father in law passing just before the wedding, and we've been using all of our time for a house hunt. I ALWAYS have RL shit going on. I NEVER hide behind it. 

 

I said this in signups, and was reluctant to signup because I'm burnt out. I made all of this clear to everyone. I joined this game for Crusher and Pirate to be happy, that's it. 

 

You either make a case on my game play, which I don't believe has shifted at all, or shut the ffrakk up. 

 

Goading me into voting Rand to "earn your trust" is a garbage tactic too. You've done nothing to change the perception that you are pre-emptively moving against me before the town has a chance to realize my plan to lynch from the pool of viewed FLIR targets is a good one.

Really Basel? Tunnel vision much? I don't trust Leelou either, but right now you're just being lazy, putting your vote in the same place over and over so it'll look like you're participating.

This is me re-acclimating and forming a context for how I think we should scum hunt. I'm doing more in between my "RL stuff" than most people have done all game and do in any games they play. The people least likely to be targeted by the FLIR cameras are those that have already been targeted by them. Therefore they are the most logical to have been converted. IMO

 

This is how I work, I build my list - part of it by the logic I just stated, and part of it by observing some of the maneuvering and trying to look for strategies that would make sense to scum to attempt. Basel distancing all game from Leelou makes sense like that, if they are both scum. 

 

I feel like I struck a nerve with EP. 

 

I'm just getting rolling, and he's trying to force my vote to Rand - rather than let me do what I do, while saying I'm not playing like I normally do. LOL, weak.

Its one thing to have made WIFOM at some random points but Nol continously makes it in the same way repeatedly.  That's what pings me.

Why would he even want to admit it in the first place?  That would draw unneeded attention to him where as he could have just sat it out if necessary.

I personally am not a fan of the martyr play, whether town or mafia are pulling it. 

Wasn't a martyr play. It'd be doing me a favor honestly. As it stands I see no way to win. My schedule is about to be completely full from June to July (had not expected that when I signed up for 2 games...) I gave a few people I absolutely want to see lynched Rand and Cloud. However there was never any body willing to follow through. We town are beating ourselves this game, that's all there is to it.

A. We don't know that Ithi was scum at the time L made that post.

2. Even if Ithi was scum, this could have been a bit of distancing. Making it look like she wanted Ithi gone without actually coming out with something that might persuade others to vote Ithi.

OMG this quoting someone that quoted someone else's quote of a quote is REALLY hard to follow.

 

I truly am sorry that I haven't been active and thus not helping AT ALL. My iPhone decided it needed to be reset to factory setting so I reset it on iTunes...after the extraction of EVERYTHING on my phone (including the iOS), ITunes informed "an unknown error has occurred, device could not be restored (-1)". Therefore I have had to share a phone with my self-indulged boyfriend that thinks he may miss an important text from his PoS friends :) which has left me with sporadic Internet access and honestly by the time I read the pages upon pages of quoted quotes my time is up.

 

I am, however, going to be more active. I am not even going to attempt a re-read of the entire thread. I will go skim for the posts that pinged me. Again I'm sorry.

 

On a side note: John Congratulations on the expected bundle of terror, i mean joy and i am sorry for your loss at such an important time in your life. My thoughts are with you darlin :)

Sorry, I've been quite busy but keeping up with this game by email and am largely up to speed.

 

I'm not quite happy with peace but I'm not going to kill town either. EP seems like a very good bet but I'm worried about numbers thus far and not 100% convinced. That being said the clock is ticking and I'm not sure if I will be awake or able to vote at deadline. So right now I'm going to Vote EP.

Jesus those votes are happening quick. I don't mean to derail here but I just caught up and it seems that EP is being voted because he was viewed. I don't like that framework. It is natural that his play would reflect a change, as he did change when he became confirmed. Am I missing something?
