Well I guess Basel would put in the general Good Guys from the books, rather than just random Aes Sedai. Thoms attitude about Aes Sedai change a lot from the first book, he gets asked to marry one after all! In Basels universe he could have moved to the WT together with Moiraine.

Ok, let's see. I think Cloud's early reveal was odd, but probably ultimately a town move. Hallia is pinging, but I think it's just n00b pings, and D1 pass there anyway. Darthe seems off to me, tho it isn't anything I can quote and point at specifically yet. And a minor FOS at Lenlo for character fishing on Cloud. Doesn't feel townie to me at all at this point.

I don't think Thom has even been to the White Tower during the time frame of the books.  Also, I don't recall him ever hunting the Black Ajah.

Tar Valon the city.  Not the White tower..and that was about as brief as brief can be.

 

Nyn and Elayne were hunting the Black Ajah...outside of the tower.
