Bloody fostercat is in heat and keeping me up *sigh* ita 3am! im on my phone now, so no formatting right now.. I forgot i had my joke vote on cloud still so i forgot to unvote. Will remedy that tomorrow when im back on the computer. Or possibly later tonight if the cat keeps me up much longer, then im gonna need to get up for a cig anyway...

Rand, i guess you can say that i haveibformation the rest of town doesnt. I have my own character, wich is even less connected to the tower than thom. And im town. And so at such i have no problems believing clouds claim.

And i was laughing at lens joke, thats the big conspiracy of the smiley. If i dont know what to say, i dont say anything. Simple as that.

OK, I agree with Peace on this one, Thom isn't a very common character in the WT, which he purposely tries to avoid, and I wouldn't see any reason why he would be in, much less a PR that can double vote. I don't think it fits his character, and I don't think it fits here. Nevertheless, I'll give Cloud the benefit of the doubt for now. However, my attention moves to Mish for now. Firstly, the blind trust in Cloud does not depend on his alignment. If he is a teammate, it could be protection, or if he is town, it could be defending a townie to look like town yourself. You are pushing much too strongly and it seems like you have information town doesn't.

Secondly, the way that you voted Peace right when he asked you where a vote was very suspicious to me.

Third of all, and this is less strong, but comes from personal experience, when I don't know how to respond to a statement that someone has made, and don't want to sound scummy, I put a laugh emoticon, or a lol, just to look like I am active enough, and engaged, but open to humor and town. This is more of a gut feeling, but I feel that my previous 2 reasons hold up well. For those reasons, unvote vote Mish

Everyone, please remember that Basel hasn't caught up, I don't think he's read any of the Sanderson stuff. So please watch the spoilers.

You can't ever recall him hunting the Black Ajah? What about when him an Juilin go to Tanchico with Nyn and Elayne to hunt the Black Ajah? And how about the fact that Mat meets him in Tar Valon i TDR?

Looks like mafia trying to push suspicion on a townie.

As for the above quotes...males me think I should quit playing games I don't know material for. I'm really behind in the series so am unsure of who fits and who doesn't.

I think it's odd that it says anonymous in the VC at all. Usually with a double voter the number just goes up. At least, in my experience. Anyone else?

My whole post has just gone...I'm so sad now...lets see if I can do it again.

A couple of things. It was Lenlo that said he had a character that wasn't connected to the tower, mish actually said she believed him and that she thought everyone who said otherwise were mafia, she then said she wasn't really connected to the tower, only after Rand said she was. now we have 3 claims of characters not connected to the tower. however at the moment I'm inclined to believe Mish and Cloud.

I'm glad I put that comment in there now, although we have no idea what the Mod did, he may well have added characters to for his game that aren't connected to the tower, it doesn't have to follow the books completely, it's his game, his rules. The comments afterwards make interesting reading however. Maybe a good place to go back to later on. As to the anonymous thing, again I have only seen it as a voted added to the count, however it is Basal's game and he may do it like that, or it may well be that Cloud gives him a second vote, but has just used the same one in his pm (at the moment I'm doubting it - just putting it out there).

Now we have two competing trains, also good on the first day. Interesting that Rand should come and vote for Mish, when there are two trains going forward. He hasn't done the obvious of voting for Lenlo, as he is the opposing train...maybe trying to deflect and pretend he doesn't care...and Lenlo isn't voting yet...

the reason I have chosen Lenlo over Rand at the moment is because of his comment about being another character not connected with the tower, is he setting himself up for a false claim later if he needs it, plus he has less votes and at the moment it's good to have balanced opposing trains.

No I'm not. Have you legitimately never seen this done because its done by me in almost every game and is done by almost everyone on mafiascum. I'm not going to change for the site meta when the site meta creates issue. You can nitpick the difference between "I have this person on my town list" and "this persons townie" all you want but both say the same thing, my stance on the individual currently based on their play.

^ you should have seen the last game I was in then. We caught 3 scum in 2 days with Vig help and caught the 4th on D4.

I do not intend to be brash by saying this but I have no intentions of changing things that help me when the groups here won't play as a team. If I can't decide that I trust some people in each game because you all find that "scummy" then lynch me each game and give scum an early advantage. But I happen to know that hunting scum is easier when you have solid reads on others, even if they are temporary. Selfish play gets punished.

Check the Mafia wiki for the doublevoter role. It clearly says that it doesn't have to be used through a PM.

I agree. Talya is absolutely on my list of suspects.

Cloud - I basically agreed with your whole post about Rand. Since I commented on it he has made another strange post followed by a vote on Mish. Come on - lets just lynch him. If he is scum then we have some people to look into - Talya is one of them.

I had a thought about them, that I don't want to go into yet, plus I maybe wrong. If I am wrong then Mish does look more scum than when you said it. I think Rand is a little more scummy than you but Competing trains are better than to push a head at just one.We have no deadline plus I said for now, meaning I didn't think it was permanent at this stage, no nedd to get so touchy, just feel the love instead ..haha

i agree that Thom could be a double voter. The issue i have is why have it as a secret vote when it is following you around so obviously.

I know they arent always submittable via PM but those ones are usually more subtle, like the number voting just goes up.

Having your extravote follow you as anonymous is far from subtle so seems like it should be indipendantly movable to give some reason to be called anonymous rather than just your name twice.

Thats what i dont trust

I haven't played with you or on mafiascum for a long time. When I did play there, nobody ever said "you're pretty much confirmed town" in response to a claim like Cloud's. I'm not nitpicking the difference between 'town list' and 'townie'. I'm quoting your words back to you, and you're trying to make it out that you didn't say them. I don't know why that is.

For what it's worth, based on the one game I played with him where he was involved in two different roles, Darthe can... irk people, town or not. He was town twice I think but both times came across as scummy.

But we love him just how he is... Sorta He does try to push everyone's buttons and calls everyone out, for better or for worse.

Why is it a bad thing to ask about his character Tress? He already revealed his role so he might as well reveal his character as well. Half done reveals dont help town. Now that we know he is Thom if he is lieing then a real Thom can step forward and say "That guy is a LLL!" And we get a scum. ((Again, I dont think he is lieing but it never hurts to be cautious.))

Character reveals can also catch fakeclaims, although a good mod will provide a safeclaim to avoid this.

Linking to a whole other game on a whole other site seems a bit excessive.

I was wondering if Cloud's claim might be a safe claim as well. However, I don't think it is. I've seen newbie mafiosi reveal safe claims under pressure on day one (I believe I'm thinking of our esteemed mod in my game of thrones game, actually), but Cloud was under no pressure. But it's still a possibility, I admit, especially if I'm wrong about Darthe.

Since my Darthe vote's not gaining any traction, I'm happy to switch to Moon.
