Ishy voted me suddenly and out-of-the-blue, reversing from "oh Cloud/Mish are DEFINITELY mafia! Aren't i cool i caught them first thing!" to "hoof is scum, lynch him!" and hasn't said a word about the Cloud/Mish debacle since. 

 

Therefore, his vote was an OMGUS vote, where someone goes from 0-to-VOTE in one post

 

at least, that was my understanding of what an OMGUS vote is

 

Alright so I'm liking this Hoof train, at least better than the Mynd one for now. I still think Panda deserves a closer look however, but when we have more time I can do a more developed case on him.

The main thing I got against him is his reaction to Mynd trying to martyr himself. If he really was suspicious of Mynd before that I think he wouldve brought up the possibility of Mynd trying to appear the martyr to avoid a lynch, or at least remark on the strangeness of Mynd offering himself up. Instead he just seemed willing to "go along with the plan". Very scummy there.

 

i didn't feel the need to spell that out, but that is basically why my vote remains on Mynd. He is in hot water and is trying to play the martyr to avoid being lynched, it is a classic WIFOM situation. "If he is mafia, why would he want to be lynched? But then if he IS mafia, he would know that we would think that". textbook WIFOM. That is why i always support these attempted martyrdoms. because they are almost always a mafiaso plot. Especially since he barely defended himself before paying the "lynch me then, and i will flip town and THEN you will see!" card.

By analyzing the timing of votes, reasons given for votes, picking those cases apart piece by piece, looking at who voted when, stuff like that, you can put pieces of the puzzle together and conclude that Hoof and Peace are scum, I mean, who may or may not be mafia.

To me it sorta seemed how it is when you have a guilty cop viewing on someone; you get a lynch, but you don't learn much by who voted when or their reasons or anything.

As far as Mynd goes, I don't have a good read on him yet. I've seen him use his traps or whatever you want to call them as both mafia and town. In this situation I do find it interesting that he used that scenario (their talking about the game outside of the game) and has misinformation in it. (They aren't bonded and have said as much).

I think that Mynd's lynch would tell us plenty, and afterwards we can examine the ones who defended and attacked him, and such, regardless of his alignment.
