Ishy and Mynd, now there's a QT I'd like to read. I should send you a Christmas gift.

*insert picture of Johnny Walker whisky*

My activity will probably be low till after Christmas.

Peace, did you mean there is nothing to prove they are not mafia hiding as masons?

I think if they really are town they played this awfully poorly. Mynd keeping the focus on himself all day just to have Ishy claim mason for both of them at the last minute. that they waited until the hoofie train had built up and so late in day to give town no choice was very anti town in my opinion. Masons are the one type of town power role that can get away with claiming as they are less likely to be night killed. Mafia generally don't want to confirm the living one.

This thing smelled of a Wiley E. coyote scheme from start to finish.

The only reason I voted too was that hoof voted himself which signaled to me either he was mafia(unlikely) or he was vanilla sacrificing himself to prevent a random.

Played it poorly? We'll have to agree to disagree then. Since we're at a disadvantage as Town, the only weapon we have, especially on Day One, is to generate conversation, make noise, and see how people react. I'd say that Mynd did a masterful job doing exactly that. Where it blew up is that we had to deal with a lot of people terrified of him doing so, based solely on the fact that it was him that did it. This overwhelming intimidation he has the ability to sow is pretty sad. Mynd wipes his ass just like the rest of us, voting him because you're scared it may be a "wild scheme from Mynd" is pretty pathetic. Especially when you consider that there was plenty of other activity and discussion being generated that we could work with other than fear of a good player. Panda saw this, I'm surprised more players than him didn't.

Ishy: why wait so long to claim? It seems to me claiming earlier would have been more helpful.

What? I should have claimed when he had 4 or 5 votes on him? That would have been dumb, I can hear the cries of scummy flailing and panicking already. And the last 3 or 4 votes came pretty fast.

And where have you been anyway Miss Lurkey?

Bold: That's true which leads to the blue

Blue: Note necessarily. Knowing your both town, it makes sense that mafia would pile on and take an easy lynch. Happens often in fact.

So what's your assessment? That we need to take a hard look at the last few votes today?

Ok after all the back and forth I'm starting to see the point on Mynd.

vote Mynd

I'll be sparse this evening too; because of [insert really long explenation about family complications] we're celebrating Christmas with mom-in-law this evening. I'll be on as often as I can, but I don't have the same access I usually have.

I'm torn on Mynd, I can see points in both Hoof's and Panda's arguments. But I'm gonna get off my fence now (t's not very comfy to sit on) and vote Mynd

Alright I am going to have to side with Hoof on this. I dont like Mynds "Lynch me" posts anymore than the next guy and even if he is a Jester ((Which I doubt)) the game wouldnt end.We get alot of info from the Mynd lynch and if he flips mafia instead of town like he says he will all the better.

Vote Mynd

These were the last three rush votes on Mynd today. Of the three, Len has seemed fairly Townie to me thus far.

But lookie at who's involved in the rush. Our good friend Mish is back in the thick of it. Convenient.

JLM looks pretty bad here too, especially after a day spent talking about how she never trusts Mynd regardless of his alignment, yet won't commit to a vote until the last pileup. Enables to her to appear slightly Townie by looking as if she's deliberating while not bandwaggoning. Of course, that also makes her fence-sitting obvious to anyone paying attention, and paired with her scummy vote here, creates an interesting pattern. Someone else to look into tomorrow.

I'm taking this mason claim with a lot of doubt. Nothing has happened to dissuade my suspicions of Ishy, and if he is scum, he has just ensured that Mynd is scum with him.

I love the Deftones song. It's on my playlist of songs for... special times... with the Woman ;)

I think I improved this post.

Ishy, he had 6 votes on him for over a day. There is no way he should have let himself stay the vote leader without claiming when clock got under 24 hours. On the weekend before Christmas no less. That in itself is enough to sow major doubt. As is the fact that you both seem to be completely ignoring the Mynd defense force in your suspicions. He says 1 out of 6 on his train, I think the percentage on the defense will be higher. Especially if by some miracle you guys really are town.

Now you want to put the blame on people being afraid of Mynd. Well guess what? That should have been considered before starting this EP-esque endeavor. And once it became apparent to you both that it was not going to plan you should have just came clean.

Those last three votes were fast and could be seen as mafia piling on in the guise of voting consolidation. So by all means look at all three of them. JLM defended early then tried to look like she didn't. Mish I believe was mostly defending herself. I don't have any real recollection of Len which is interesting that you choose to name him as your town read.

Still driving hope to be home today.
