pls keep the good ideas hushy, I'll pm anyone who wants to mod with what I got, but like I Sid mines just... jokey.

 

I'd even comod it cause I'm guessing its not gonna work as basic cause 3rd party viruses and competing services would be a must... and complicated maf abilities and a tiny little bit of town protection... perhaps a Facebook message carry service dunno..

You should make a requirements list bro. Time the game could take, contribution level blahblah that sorta stuff. Otherwise people are going to enthusiastically sign up for the sake of being part of it.

Nah. As much as I WANT to be elitist, I only have it in me to go so far. If games bomb due to inactivity people know who to blame.

If Pandy gets his game going I might be able to put my sign ups up sooner

I've got some special things planned for after sign ups but before the game that need to be taken care of so the sooner I can put up sign ups the better

So. Updates.

This is my general update thread for this series of games by the way in case I never said that before.

 

First of all since Kingdom Hearts 1.5 HD Remix came out I want to give a shout out to a couple of my favorite Let's Players who are doing playthroughs of the game.

If you don't care about LP's just leave the spoiler tag closed.

 

 

VintageBeef is the newbie and has never played Kingdom Hearts before so if you'd like to experience the game for the first time with someone who's doing a blind playthrough he's your guy. Millbee is the vet and has played most of the Kingdom Hearts games before. He is going for a 100% run so if you just want to see someone play the game who knows what they are doing and wont get lost or anything and makes fun of the game a bit along the way (Millbee is a pretty funny guy IMO) then that's the one for you.

In other news I am sort of kind of getting close to the top of the queue.

At the rate things are going I am not expecting to actually be up to post sign ups until around holiday time which means lots of people will be busy which makes me hesitant to do another Kingdom Hearts game because I don't want something I've put so much time into to just be killed by inactivity. So even though we only got one game played this year I'm thinking of putting off the next game until next year. I might change my mind on that if there's a lot of people who think they wont be that busy this holiday season and want to play so if that's the case speak up but otherwise I think I'm going to run a game that I've been sitting on for a long time that can accommodate any number of players from like 7 to 30+. That way it's scaled to who's around rather than scrounging for 14 players which the next Kingdom Hearts game will definitely be. I can't bend that number this time for balance reasons. So yeah that's where this is at right now and that's what's going on.

It's been a year since there's been any activity with this. I'm sure no one has been waiting with bated breath to see where these games are but I still feel like it needs addressing. Some of you may know already but the cord for the laptop I had all my mafia games on died and now I have a new one. The games are still just sitting on the harddrive waiting for me to somehow get them but for all intents and purposes they're "gone" and this series of games I was doing is on indefinite hiatus.

 

Here's where I'm at. I either want to wait until I finally get my hands on a power cord so I can transfer over all my old mafia data to this new computer or I could just wing it and make new setups and finish this series of games. Both options appeal to me and that's my problem. I did like the setups I made originally (especially Agrabah) and I wanted to continue doing my cutscene thing but I think I've gotten better as a mod since I originally made the setups...what 3? 4? years ago now? and could probably make new ones that would be even more fun than the originals. But they would lack cutscenes since putting those together was like 99% of what took so long before and was very tedious. I have no desire to do all that again. But on the other laptop all that stuff is just sitting and waiting for me.

 

I'm happy to sit here and be indecisive for the time being so that's where all of this is at.

If you have an opinion on any of it even if it's "lol I don't even care" I'd love to hear it.
