I'm going to leave my vote on lolguy for now. A vig claim is easy to make if you have an anti-town killing role, and I feel like at this point that someone who's claimed a role has to be lying. Plus, vig kills often work against the town as much as for the town. I'm willing to change my vote though. Anyone got a current vote count?

The problem I have with the lolguy case is it just kinda came up out of nowhere, and honestly I think it's mafia pushed.

 

At the same time, I have no qualms about losing a vig if he's telling the truth, especially an inexperienced one at that. So if need be I can vote him for consolidation as we get closer to the deadline

 

However, I do think we have another option. But first-

 

However, going through and doing re-reads on the thread, I've noticed John Snow by not seeing him really mentioned by anyone, at all. He's posted frequently enough to stay present, but has really only been commenting on the rules of the game, contributing nothing to scum hunting. Seems to me this might be the perfect cover up for lurking, and I'm feeling he's probably scum.

While Random's point on John is a good one, John's rolefishing here is what really did it for me. Vote John Snow. I'm keeping an eye on Rand because, as has been noted already, Rand tends to be scummy when he is quieter. But I don't find him as suspicious as I do Snowy.

 

Uh, how is he fishing right here? He's saying of those who haven't claimed, as in he may be suspicious of some who have claimed, but doesn't want to vote them in case they're telling the truth.

 

Twisty twistiness of words here Basel, and from someone with an already sketchy claim, this just adds to the case on you imo.

 

Also, I can't remember Rand's case on Mr. Snow exactly, but I'll say this: When I saw his vote on me, I recognized it for what I'm pretty sure it was - an attempt to kick start the game back into action, hence my obvious omgus style vote in response. I never thought he was mafia.

Would have been more believable if you'd waited for a couple of votes. If you do flip vanilla town, you'll learn from this. If you do flip scum, you'll still learn from this, and we'll have got ourselves a scum.

Except he was the only one on you at that time, so you weren't threatened. Why bother about someone being on your trail when he is the only one voting you? Are you and John scummates? Cause this seems like a bit of an overreaction to hardly any pressure.

I don't see it 100% the same way as Despo, but I agree it's scummy, saying this statement then immediately claiming a role after only one vote.
