I see you've read and signed the sticky, that's good, that's step one! What you do now, is wait for one of the admins to email you, and grant you permission to the hidden boards. In the email will be a bit of general info, and it will let you know wich House you have been assigned to :) In the meantime, feel free to post around in the boards you can see! Right now we have Travel and Olympics month going on, so there's games and discussion threads. Join anyone that catches your fancy!

 

And let me be the first to say: Welcome to the White Tower Sea! Looking forward to getting to know you! ^^

Welcome, Sea! I second what Mish suggested; stroll through the threads you can see now and when you have access to additional boards, dive into those, as well. :smile:

 

We look forward to getting to know you better! While you're waiting, if you'd like to tell us a little about yourself, we're all ears! And we'll also be happy to introduce ourselves, as well. I'm Daruya, First Selector of the Blue Ajah here on the social group side. I live in Florida, am married with 2 teenage boys, 2 horses, 3 dogs and about 30 chickens.

LOL! Ours wouldn't be, Kyn. They're too old to be fryers. You'd need to roast or stew them instead. Our barred rocks might be just on the right side of 16 weeks for frying, but they are intended to be egg layers so they're off limits!

Mish was correct in her answer, other than that it would be the MoN/MaA (Mistress of Novices / Mistress at Arms) who'll be emailing you. Seeing that AH has spotted you, that email is probably already on it's way ... lol

 

From what I've heard, we're a bit more laid back and informal than TVnet, but we have several people from there who live here too, and seem to enjoy it. I hope you'll have a great time here!

And yeah, do take a look at all the threads you can see while you're waiting to get access to the rest of the boards. :smile:

 

Oh and I'm also at TV.net, kind of. Just a citizen over there. Dragonmount is a bit different, like Elgee said.

Welcome Sea! ^^ I've already welcomed you before but I'll say it again. I'm Laura by the way. I'm currently a Green AJah Sitter, 35, married, and raising a 15 year old. It's great to have you here. First of all you attach yourself to someone who is just unbearably awesome, Niel. Follow them around and dote on them and proclaim just how amazing that person is, Niel, to everyone you meet. Everything will fall in line after that.

Welcome!

 

First off, good for you for being brave enough to post a thread! I was SO clueless when I joined, I think it took me a month to post at all!!

 

And hi! I'm Charis (the Green one, there are two of us active right now!) and I'm the Head of the Green Ajah, the Captain General. I'm 22, super single, freshly graduated from college. I'm an actor, costumer and stage manager. I do a fair bit of business in shawls, actually, if you ever get interested!

 

Anywho, I worked like, 12 hours today so I'm rambling. Come by and see us at the Greens when you get to the Private Boards!

I'm Rasheta Green Ajah GLO, my job is to deal with our accepted. So Mish gets to deal with me a lot. *laughs* In RL i'm a dancer and a tarot reader, as well as a baker. *laughs* Kind of weird combo there.
