My gut feeling is all over the place now, I haven't really trusted it at all since it failed me so spectacularly with Despo <.< So I'm just really unsure.

And I'll be gone for some time again, bedtime.

Like I said in my other post Sakaea seems to have changed her attitude to one less scummy seeming and for now the vanilla claim is alright with me

I really don't like how he's only bothered to show up because I called him out and used that lame excuse that people are sleeping when he's on so that's why he doesn't post

Additionally she claimed vanilla and while that's a really generic role scum can hide behind I'm happy enough with her change in behavior for now to move on to what I think is a better candidate

You can reply to things hours and days and weeks later

 

For example your post was, apparently, made at 1:41 AM my time

It is now 1:52 AM my time but for the sake of argument let's say it was PM or about 12 hours later

Just because 12 hours have passed since your post doesn't make what you say any less important

At times what we say can lose a bit of relevancy as the game moves on but in general there's nothing wrong with reply to something while someone is sleeping

 

How you can attribute your low post count to other people sleeping is really confusing and to me scummy

Sakaea was and is still a decent lynch and I'll move back on her if the deadline rolls around but for now I'm satisfied with the reactions we got from her to move on, as I just said to Dice

I call this where you Ithi and I are all around and variously posting interacting and is much better. I know you were on when i posted last night i looked but i didnt have time to wait around for a response.

We're not exactly playing mafia over an instant messenger and these games are not organized to be held at certain times or days

How else do you expect to actively participate in a game?

You post whenever you can, doesn't matter if anyone is actually online at the time because they will read and respond later just like you

The only way it could lead to low amounts of posts if you only choose to respond to things within a certain time limit (say less than a half hour)

Oh I'll definitely agree this is better

Dunno what it is but when people are posting at the same time the game does feel more enjoyable

However that doesn't mean you should neglect participating if no new posts have been made in say an hour or two

Or even if you DID do that you could at least post a summary of your thoughts instead of replying to a ton of stuff

If you're not doing any of these things it's practically like you're not even playing the game

Nolder's only vote on a mafia lynch was on JLM and it was 7th of 9... He has drastically shown up and is flinging votes about since his name was mentioned. He laid low before in complete contrast to how he normally plays and has yet to show his grand scumhunting persona. Vote nolder. At worst we lose someone who hasn't helped us anyways and gain a ton of info.

I was absent for all of Day 1 so I wouldn't have participated in Lily's lynch and Rand, as I recall, was lynched while I was asleep

I really don't think I'm that great at scumhunting but I do generally try to play loud and obnoxious when I'm townie

When I'm scum I tend to be more cryptic and don't say as much

As a townie you're trying to rile people up and get in their faces to get reactions for yourself and everyone else to judge but as mafia you gotta stay calm under the pressure

Maybe Turin is right. Is is quite good at figuring stuff out. We can always lynch Kae tomorrow if this turns out to be wrong. Like Nolder says, we are quite up at the moment, so the odd mistake won't hurt us that much - and Nolder hasn't been mouthy and beligerant, he has been nice and spammy and helpful, until he started getting voted, then he started casting about everywhere.

I'm sorry if you guys think I'm bouncing between people (I still don't think 3 votes counts but w/e) but to my credit I don't exactly know who the mafia is

If I bounce between people it's for reactions and because I'm taking in new information and other such things which changes my views

I'd be more worried of people who stick with the same opinion no matter what

Those are usually the people with inside information, well that or they're stubborn lol

 

I might be lynched while I'm asleep later so here's a concise list of who my biggest suspects are right now and why:

Like I said earlier I really don't like he showed up after I called him out

That could just be coincidence but his argument that he's inactive because people aren't around when he is sticks out like a sore thumb to me

Firstly it's just ridiculous given that we're on a forum but also because I'd be willing to bet if you went back and checked older games he was in he probably responds hours or even days after something was posted so his argument wont hold true which would mean something about this game is different for him to have said that

I haven't verified that though so that's something for you guys to check on if you want to

 

GF

As I also noted earlier the Unlyncher role simply does not fit into a basic game

GF could be using the shock value to coast through the game as scum

A good way to test this might be to just go through with a lynch

If GF really wins with the town how can he (she? I seem to have forgotten which I'm so sorry) argue against it?

It's a HUGE WIFOM and it needs to be dealt with eventually

Replacing WoT13 on my list is Mish

I didn't realize WoT13 was a newbie when I was casing her so it's kind of understandable that she'd kind of hang back and watch rather than participate too much because she wouldn't know what to do

Mish on the other hand is, I think, someone who has played before at least a few times right?

I don't like how she was so wishy washy earlier and then bandwagons on Sakaea with no reasoning

What really pings me is this whole thing about her instincts being wrong

If you're town you don't know what the hell is going on most of the time and ~70% of the game is town so why beat yourself up so hard after every townie lynch you were on?
