As EP may still be watching - a shall explain that my last comment was referring to him saying I was barking up the wrong book. He had already called me an ape, and I wondered if he was jokingly referring to BG's dear departed Lady :smile:

 

My other thoughts are Misheru and Nolder - who both openly admitted they didn't care who got lynched. Also Mish was a bit narky with regards to WoT13 being a new player. Just cos she went and looked at sites doesn't mean that everyone has to. I certainly don't mind helping out new players and EP and Despo both backed off a little when then realised she was new, the seasoned players that they are - so having a rant at someone who is learning how to play a game seems a bit bad form to me.

 

This deciding not to play business from EP is a little odd though.

Wot13, I don't find you a burden, especially since this is a basic game. I don't think most of us mind helping out a bit. A new player should be able to play a basic game and feel okay asking questions.

 

Mish, I think it's good that you're doing your own research too, though :D But I don't think we mind helping new players out.

 

I'm not sure what EP was talking about. So far this has been one of the better games I've played in a while.

Ithi; I explained what I said about not caring about who got lynched, Ithi. You seemed to accept that then, why bring it up again now? And yeah, I let my temper get away with me on WoT13. I just think that if you start something new, you do an effort on your own to learn the basics and check out things you're unsure of. That is how I think. If I were to start playing i.e. Dungeons and Dragons with mostly experienced players, I'd look up quite a bit by myself first, so that I wouldn't have to interrupt with questions all the time.

 

WoT13, sorry for letting my temper out on you, that was unfair, I should have phrased that in a better/nicer way.

Also, I do not get EP at all. Is this a bad game? To my eye, it seems like a great start, we lynched a scum on the first day, and a power role at that. How is that bad play?

It's easy to let Mafia make you feel cross - it is just a game at the end of the day. That is the most important lesson to learn.

 

I don't remember saying I accepted your explanation Mish, not commenting is not the same as accepting. I wanted to stay focused on my main objective. Tomorrow is another day.

I'm withdrawing I just can't fathom the lack of real gaming this game. Comgratulations guys you have achieved a new altime low. I have never once backed out of a game but the lack of legitemate game play has made this my first.

I don't remember saying I accepted your explanation Mish, not commenting is not the same as accepting. I wanted to stay focused on my main objective. Tomorrow is another day.

 

Why wait until tomorrow what you can do today? It's not that late yet (I know, I'm an hour ahead of you time-wise)

Talking gameplay at night generally serves the mafia imo.

Because I've just worked an 11 hour shift and I'm tired and it is Night. I'm going to have a potter about and stuff instead. Generally no real casing is done at Night. Sometimes I spam a bit if I'm feeling bored - but I don't have to work hard at Night, so I generally don't.

Night is only 24 hours too, so we prob won't have to wait all that long.
