He wasnt just rolefishing , he was giving out tips to the town I think. Cant quite tell only been awake a few minutes. So what im saying may sound good right now due to not working brain heh.

It sounds just like the sort of thing she'd do to us. I also don't like the speed-train on Despo. Scummy as his role-fishing may have been, it's beyond belief that so many townies would be thinking in unison. Unless there's a huge mason group out there, this is mafia work.

There were votes on Despo from EP, BG, and Matty (in that order) within four posts of each other. Then John Snow joined in within another two. That's how the near speed lynch got started. I'm going to go back and quote them...

OK. Here's the core of the matter. Don't take this as defending Despo, because I think his rolefishing was scummy too. But this stuff is more important ATM.

 

Incidentally, speaking of EP, I expected more out of him this game. Not just cause of his rep, but because of how much he talks about his play in the first pokemon game. And I expected him to be much more spammy than he has been. Also, he never came out and confirmed that he was Teddieursa, did he? I would have expected him to respond to that.

 

Also not really believing that I just so happened to bring up Marsh RIGHT as he finally was looking at the thread after 4 days. But he's not the only one who resurfaced all suspicious like.

 

Why should I confirm my pokemon? Oh and technically we are all trainers, not pokemon so I am not teddiursa whether I have a teddiursa or not.

Hmmm... interesting, no NK's. This could either be very good or very bad for town. The scum could have possibly targeted the doc, and the doc usually self-protects N1, so it's possible the scum already know who he/she is. Let's hope that's not the case. Either way, the Doc might need to watch his/her back even moar carefully.

 

The great thing we could get out of this is if someone has some role info that could help bag some scum today. Did anyone RB or Jail someone last night? You don't have to come out in the open if you don't desire, but if there is a RB'er of some kind that could explain the lack of deaths.

 

I'm going to withhold my vote for now to see if anyone has any pertinent info of that sort, or any other sort for that matter.

 

Oh and pre-post edit: A third possibility is that the scum team just decided they felt bad for us and chose not to NK anyone If that's the case then I will present them with a giant hug

That's exactly what I was saying. Well, almost at least. I NEVER said the doc should come forward. Giant FOS for that Basel.

 

I did say that if there was a RB of some type in the game that blocked someone last night (which might not have even happened, many RB'ers holster the first night), then if they revealed who they targeted we could have a good chance at catching scum. I'm Delibird. I have the ability to gift presents to others. I can either choose one person and have a 100% chance of them getting something good, or target 2 different people and have a 50% chance of something good for each one of them.

 

I can pull up the quotes later when I have more time, but I breadcrumbed this role earlier in the game.

 

I asked if my role works like an Inventor, if the person receives items they can use or something, and I got a PAFO. I still believe I can vet my role however.

 

And although I have responded to each of those voting for me, not a single person has responded to the points I raised. EP voted for me for a bogus reason, Matty voted for me cause I was "too town", Basel voted for me even thought the ONLY REASON I was saying a RB'er should reveal is cause they might help catch a scum, so his reasoning is just completely invalid. John claimed I was doc-fishing, which is just bs. And Turin, I never once said "why me" or anything close to that. I also find it hilarious that you accuse ME of excessive town leading.

 

Either way, the fact that this train has built as fast as it has should be the biggest clue that scum are on my train trying to drive my lynch. My role can be very useful, and yall know that I can be a good scumhunter. If you lose both because none of you are willing to see what should be obvious, I don't know what else to say.

What in the world are all of you smoking? I don't care whether or not anyone reveals, but if we had a RB'er of some kind block someone last night, then we have a great chance of catching scum today. I can't believe yall don't see that.

 

I also don't like how quick this train just suddenly built up on me, smells extremely scummy, like the mafia are working together to try and get me speedlynched. I wouldn't be surprised at all if there were already a couple of scum on my train. EP picked a crazy bogus reason to vote me, and BG should know better. Call it rolefishing if you want, but our job is to catch scum and I pointed out a possible way for us to be able to do that today.

 

Bold: this translates as why are you voting for me? Why me? the next sentence that you don't care if anyone reveals or not is not what you advocated in your intial post. There you were clearly trying to persuade people to reveal their roles.

Italic: of course you don't like that people are voting you. I never like it when someone assumes that because something happens quickly that mafia must be involved. It smacks of using key words and tricky phrases to get others to think you have something when you don't.

Underlined: there may be mafia in your lynch. you are the king of bussing after all.

 

your plan doesn't guarantee catching mafia. There are too many variables that could be the cause of no NK last night. to be honest your initial post looked most like you were trying to get town to help you figure out why your kill failed.

 

now that there has been a good deal of people to chime in with opinions your lynch will also garner a great deal of information. If you miraculously flip town then some of us that are advocating your lynch will be suspect if you flip mafia then some of your defenders will earn greater inspection.
