The auction house opened at the cheery hour of 5 in the morning with a twinkling in the sky and a bustle in the crowd. Everyone was excited, they could feel each others pulse and knew today would be a day to remember. Hours passed and the auditorium was filled to bursting but still the auctioneer stood to the side chatting with his underlings and looking nervous. When the mood of the room reached a fever pitch and it seemed like people would begin to shout over the angry murmuring some looked to the doors as if they expected them to burst open dramatically like some movie. The excitement rose and fell and rose and fell. By the time Milburn Moneybags arrived, monocle reflecting the lights above like flashlight as he scanned the crowd, most would be buyers were exhausted and ready to just go home. Thud-Thud-Thud. The sound of his cane echoed loudly in the room as he walked down the aisle and took a seat at the end of a row reserved for him and his guests. The auctioneer collected some papers hurriedly and looked up directly at Mr.Monopoly. Milburn nodded and the auctioneer walked up to the podium, wiping sweat from his brow. "There has been a change..." The auctioneer choked and took a swig of water from a glass that was sweating more than the auctioneer. "There has been a change in the programming gentlemen. We are very sorry to inform you that the properties belonging to Misters Wombat and Phoenix have been removed from the listing. We were informed they decided to make a deal with an anonymous buyer." There was an outcry from the crowd and several men shouted at once. One man even got out of his seat and began climbing the stairs to the stage before being subdued. "We know you've all been waiting a long time and this comes as bad news to those of you who were especially interested in those plots but we have good news as well!" The crowd stared blankly and the auctioneer took another drink. "We are ready to begin taking offers on the first listing. Bidding begins at $100. Do I have $100?" The crowd roared and the auction was on.

i assume that it was the mafia who targeted Wombie and either a Vig or SK (SK seems more likely imo) that picked EP. the mafia would have left EP to get himself lynched.

Okay, I'm going to ask nicely and politely, but EP, and other random offenders (but mostly EP), can you please try to curb the spammage at least when active game discussion is going on? I have no problem with spamming when there's not much going on anyways, but Tress revealed a pretty huge piece of info, and instead of instantly seeing everyone's reactions and such, there's still post after post of you and David spamming. It's not only somewhat annoying, but there's no way you can justify it as a town move when it's completely getting in the way of the game discussion.

 

Also EP, I don't like how once you felt you weren't on the hot seat anymore, you started spamming like crazy again. You had me starting to back off my feelings that you were scum when you were actually casing and, y'know, doing townie stuff. You seem to have stopped caring about that completely.

 

David..... gah I just don't know what to say. Try not to be so.... helpless and confused? Also, take the EP love to a thread somewhere or something, he's friggin FOS'ing you and you're following after him like a little lost puppy.

 

And I'm sorry if I sound like a dick, but my patience with newer players only goes so far, and many newer mafia players have not gotten on my nerves NEARLY as much as wunderkind over there.

 

 

I'm not per-say a newer player I've been playing for awhile, I was still posting seriously with the jokes, I said what I needed to say on the Lenlo thing, Lenlo dies plain and simple that's the only way to sort this shenanigans out, also Tress claimed neighbors not mason it's not quite the same as neighbors could be scum but she is claiming that her and her neighbor recieved each other's alignment. I had suspected Lenlo early in the game my WoT can back that up, but I think he calmed down due to realising his slip in the neighbor thread

 

The spam is just amusing as I know what I wish to persue in the morning, Lenlo or David has to go, and I say build competeing trains on both. I have nothing to lose so I'm haveing fun.

Might not be much point to posting this after you've already been deaded, but I have a feeling you'll continue to follow along, at least for a little while.

 

The point I was going to make was that even if YOU had already made your mind up about who you were going to vote for, others may not have. By spamming during actual game discussion like you were, it only increases the chances that another townie may miss an important post or reaction, because they were skimming through your spam.

 

So in the future, if you see actual game discussion actively taking place, please save the spam for later, or at the least try to limit it to a couple of posts or so, instead of a couple of pages. Please.

 

Oh and the "newer players" comment was directed at David, not you.

Dude. Every time you've posted in this game it's to complain about how active the game is before you head out again. If you didn't have time for an active game, you shouldn't have signed up.

 

Next time you post, include some game thoughts or just ask for a replacement.

I was thinking something around the same thing. Since EP was getting FOS'd yesterday, I'd say atm it seems more likely to be a vig instead of a SK. But we'll see as more info comes to light.

I'd consider it lucky that, after two deaths, town didn't lose a power role. Sounds like you're trying to find the best shot at redirecting attention away from yourself that you can. That doesn't mean I'm willing to clear Dice by any stretch tho btw.

 

And claiming survivor is a good attempt, but I just frankly don't believe it. Only one way I see to deal with this wifom.

Why were you going to vote for EP? He outright claimed to be vanilla, and I personally believed him, and as it turns out he was vanilla.

Personally David.. When someone claims vanilla townie, I rarely believe them. Vanilla townie is the easiest fake claim for scum, no one can come out and say " HAH!! GOT YOU! I'M ACTUALLY THE REAAAAL VANILLA TOWNIE" if you get my drift.

 

Still thinking about the whole Tress Lenlo situation. I'm really scared they're pulling some kind of Mynd Turin thing to vet Tress *paranoid*

That was an odd statement Lenlo.. I am a bit confused by your play in this game considering that I have seen you as mafia recently and you acted nothing like this. An EP death was certainly a surprise but assuming that the mafia didn't kill him to create WIFOM would be a bad idea as we just don't know. Blackhoof, you changed your mind pretty quickly there. That pinged some. Based on events of the day before and last night I say we lynch either David, Lenlo, or one of the people that really pushed the no lynch game.

Dice was sound in what he had to say. I don't think it's a good thing that we lost two townies in one night and neither one got saved or resuscitated or whatever, but neither the vig/SK or the scum would know what anyone's role is this early other than their own, aside from a couple of claims. And yet the ones they targeted were two vanillas, not power roles. Night wasn't good, but town was lucky to not lose a cop or doc or whatever else is in play that could help defeat scum with its powers. So I can see where Dice is coming from here, even if I don't necessarily agree with it, and Len's statement just sounds like he is trying to make himself look non-scummy. Survivor would make a good fakeclaim to cover for his scummy behavior. Vote Lenlo.
