On a serious note, has anyone here studied Spinoza's Ethics? I've recently started to read it in original form (no, not Latin, but an actual translation), and it's going very, very slowly to be honest. As I'm trying to wrap my head around his concepts I keep on thinking about DO and the Creator. To me it simply clicks and works really well. So if anyone wants to know why I think the only way DO and the Creator can work in any way is if they are one and the same, give Spinoza a try and I think it would make sense to a lot of people.

Tam offers Rand assistance in standing. Still a little groggy, Rand grabs onto the wagon with both hands. Both hands? What used to be a stump is now a hand that never looks like anything has happened to it. Still shaking off the grogginess, Rand takes in his surrounding. He, Tam, and Bela are on the Quarry Road between their farm and Edmond's Field. The wagon is filled with Tam's apple brandy.

 

Rand searches his mind for what was the last things he remembered. The aches and pains of his body tells him that he tripped on a stone in the road and hit his head hard on the ground. He tripped because he was distracted when he thought he saw a dark horseman. Tam saw nothing. Contrary the memories of the fall are many memories. Memories of wars, the One Power, the White Tower, the Seanchan, Mat, Perrin, Wolves, Lan, Moraine, Callandor, the Foresaken, Elayne, Min, Aviendha, the Aiel, crowns, rulers, the Sea Folk, cleansing Saidan, and Bela travelling the world.

 

Was it a dream? There were too many memories to fit in the short time span that he blacked out from the trip and fall.

 

Tam was walking back to secure the contents of the wagon.

 

Rand reaches up to pat Bela's nose, but she pulls back. Turning to look Rand directly in his eyes, Bela mutters, "I have won again, Lews Therin."
