I think Nolder is acting townish, is what I was directing to. IMO he's tunneling way too aggressively to be scum (at least we know that Red and Nolder are almost definitely not on a team, so one of them dying would yield a lot of information on the other).

And I could say, "it's some crazy gambit they're all pulling to look town!", but 90% of the time that's crazily inaccurate. Again, I've been wrong before, but I just have a good feeling on this one.

oh, I meant for that to be 95% of the time*

yeeesh, I miss my laptop ):

So from my perspective at the moment: Nolder and Mynd are probably town

BG and Red I'm unsure of.

I'll probably go ahead and look at other players more thoroughly once I regain computer access.

what is with DM people and replying in someone else's quotes? :madmyrddraal:

^THIS!!!!

to be fair there are tons of XMen

we don't really know that the town players will be "good guys" from the movies yet do we?

just because you are uncountered doesn't necessarily make you town

True and I recall now that Rogue did not start out as an X-men according to comic cannon. She was part of the Brotherhood at first but switched sides. I am however more the Saturday Morning Cartoon version of the sweet Southerner, though my accent is likely as bad as Anna Paquin's. But I look better naked and being bit by vampires.

I've found in most games people are so bent on trying to sort out the fringe OMG gambit that they ignore glaring TOWN or SCUM signs. Remember Occam's Razor folks!

There really should be a Constitutional Amendment banning the halftime show. There isn't enough rum in the world to make this bearable. Only way it could be decent enough to watch would be if the Smiths reuinited and did it.

I am also probably the only person in the universe that has never seen Star Wars.

I feel like I'm the only person ever that doesn't watch football ):

Nah, my wife hates it too, but at least she loves baseball, which is my real passion.

Sounds like your wife and I would get along, Ishy.

And Levity - I despise football. You are so not alone.

So? I didn't catch your hinting, and since when does hinting confirm you are telling the truth anyway?

When nobody counters.

maybe no-one picked up on your hint? maybe there has only been 3 posts since you full claimed and the real rogue hasnt been online yet?

maybe the real rogue is under a little more heat then you and doesnt want to claim sicne it could be taken as a mafia gambit....

I feel like I'm the only person ever that doesn't watch football ):

i sympathise, i dont like sport of any form heh

I am also probably the only person in the universe that has never seen Star Wars.

SYMPATHY GONE!!!

Levity, I think you may very well be the only person who has never seen Star Wars. Perhaps you shpuld sit down with a pile of ashes and not rise till you watch it all. (Just got back from the bar after the gam,e a nd I'm very drun k.)

this post is goign to come off snappish, and i apologize for that. Feb is pine tree pollination month down here in the south and i have Hay Fever; so i feel like dog crap thats been ran over, had the bus back up over me and run me over again.

Nol, i couldn't care one flip over your vote on me. infact, the fact that you CANT back it up with a legit case other than "i'm scared of red we needs to lynch her" makes me laugh. so instead of actulaly pulling a case on me, all you can keep saying is "hmmm Reds a good talker, we shoudl lynch her; cause well, that scares me."

like i said, either get a legit case on me that isn't nothign but Meta; because using Meta on me will fail every time, or GFY. cause honestly, if your going to start trying to policy lynch my in games because i can be a smooth talker and get myself out of lynches some times ... i'll stop there.

i feel like Nols reason for wanting to lynch me has more to do with personal reasons for wanting me gone rather then game reasons. why he sees me as such a threat when theres better and more dangerous players in this game i don't know.

Nol IS acting townish this game. Ergo, he's scum.

imo Nol is not acting like a townie. he's acting like a brave scum. my money is on him being a GF, as he's acting like he wants to drawl the view to him.

if he was town, he'd quit trying to lynch me because he thinks i'm a good player and actually form a case on me that isn't nothing but Meta.

to the underlined, i woudln't say that. Nol is using the term Gambit wrong in this case. the underlined is exactly what a gambit is. so just because 1 person attacks another or bulldogs another on thread doesn't mean their not on a team.

also, i fail to see how i wouldgive any info on anyone at this point as i've not really been playing and postign much. so i'd appreciate you not connecting me with anyone tyvm.

Sorry Gill, your "case" on me doesn't add up. Let me review what you said:

All right, I've given my vote quite a bit of thought overnight. My original vote was a joke, and then I made my second vote when I let my emotions get the worst of me. I'm going to go with BG, since, as mentioned, he has been pretty quiet here, aside from discussing the theme material. He has been pretty active over in the game I'm in at the WK, so I'm guessing that it isn't RL interfering with his DM time, or he would be equally quiet in both threads. I'm thinking that it's the quiet one that we gotta watch.

Vote BG.

You vote me because I've not been as active on this thread as others. Which isn't that great of a reason to begin with, but acceptable on Day 1 when there is nothing else to go on.... except to me it looks like you were trying to find an excuse to justify your vote after being called out on it.

although there should be no future for Red because we should lynch her today

let's get off BG and do that ok guys? ok cool

Except that BG is scum for reasons which have been well-explained already, so I don't feel like bothering with an explanation which would be redundant (lest someone accuse me of dropping the S-word without an explanation), and we alreayd have a good train going for him. If we break down the BG train with just two votes to go. we'd have to take the time to build a whole new one for Red, and then get the BG train going all over again after Day 2 starts. I'd sooner lynch BG now, and worry about Red later.

So this well-explained reason? Sure people might be suspicious of my PM thing, but you didn't reference that. You referenced my inactivity. As for the 2nd bolded part, basically you say I'm the convenient vote and there's no point in casing Red. Now THAT sounds a mighty bit off to me.

@ basel so I've seen some of the cases on BG. Did you have any opinions of your own, you seem very eager for this lynch.

Amega wants to know your case the good reason you mentioned above, and yes, you do seem rather eager to the point of actively trying to stop discussion about other possible suspicious moves by other players.

Amega, I already gave out my reasoning further back in the thread.

In case you are wondering... ^^^^ this loops back upto the first quote I quoted here. Back to my inactivity arguement. Basel gives a poor arguement while trying to deflect anyone else's lynch because I'm the convenient vote.

Vote Basel Gill
