Spirit's vote was a bit strange, but then again, she (?) might have just forgotten/missed BG's case, and she says to want to hear BG defend himself. I'll be watching her (?), though.

 

Corrosive is acting weirdly. I mean, popping up and voting the head suspect of that moment without any explanation. I want to see more from him before voting, though.

Managed to catch up! A lot seemed to have happened while I was offline!

 

To conclude my thoughts... I wasn't going to go for 'no lynch' vote. Mostly because on the next day BG can turn up with another read that won't necessarily help us and we'll be more or less in the same place only with the difference that we had lost a day that would have given us more information.

 

I do believe Red and Kea's claim. They seem to have precise information and so it doesn't sound like bluffing to me. I'm not quite sure what to do with the information they have, though. It's good to know what roles are out there but as far as who's targeted... not sure what we can infer from having those names. Maybe I'm not seeing the big picture right now. Lunno.

 

As far as voting goes... Corassive's sudden appearance and voting (without explaining) did seem a little scummy. But I'd like to hear from him before I decide on my vote. What sort of worries me about voting him, though, is the fact that he has been so inactive. So if he flips town, then that's as far as we go information wise, really. That's why I'm more inclined to consider someone suspicious who has been active... so if the worse happens we could at least derive information from his/her behavior and try to connect the dots.

 

So yeah... I'm going to wait a while longer till I place my vote.

This was posted after Maw revealed that he got the one time viewing deal and cleared BG as lightsworn. Makes sense to me to withdraw as we received a sort of confirmation that BG is indeed the cop.

This is the part the confuses me. In your previous post you opted to look for other suspects and seemed to believe Maw's confirmation enough to withdraw your vote from BG. I can appreciate you wanting to hear more from Corrosive as I would also like to hear what he has to say. But instead you place your vote back on BG. Why? What changed from before? Obviously Maw's word was good enough earlier but now... it's not?

I haven't seen anything in what BG has said to make me wonder about a secret important role, but it could be I'm just missing it because I'm not reading too deeply into anything. At any rate, I am interested to see where this goes, so I will jump on the bandwagon.

I am pretty sure we just lynched a town member. =( I'm still wondering about BG...he could be telling the truth, but then again, it's really common for mafia to claim an important role or hint at having an important role without saying what it is when there's pressure on them. It's happened in just about every game I have ever played. So...I'm still suspicious.

 

Scum don’t always put up a lot of argument either, so I personally find it interesting that you jump right there to the fact that you’re “pretty sure” she’s town. You’d know she was if you were mafia though, so perhaps just trying to get in good with the group by saying this?

Again with mulling over BG. (Which is fair, just pointing it out.)

 

For now, I think I'll keep my vote where it was before.

Less than a day later, despite Corrosive being suspicious, Maw’s backing him up, and a few other reveals, commenting again about not trusting BG.

 

I don't like it. I'm not completely sure that he's the Finder, of course, but I don't want to lynch an unclaimed finder. It seems like you really want him gone though.

Do you have any information about BG that we don´t have, Spirit?

we;re a neighbor hood watch team, we get a tracker report (list of all NA's submitted each night) and a watcher report (list of the people targeted). we aren't told who targetted who; but our lists can help figure out false role claims and if a person is being truthful about who they targetted. the only down side is that we're not informed if there are dulpicate roles or how many times a person is targetted, and or 28 players, i think we have some repeating roles. hopefully this quells some confusion.

 

also, major FoS @ Turin for trying to dig out whose on the lists. it just feels like your trying to cover yourself for a role claim later, which is scummy imo. you seem to really want to know what roles are on that list and i really dislike that. i only listed roles off the list which i felt were anti-town in nature; i forgot to list Blocker as well. Right now, 5 of the NA's we have listed are anti-town in nature imo

the Blocker, RD & VC i've seen as both Town and Scum, yet becuase of the nature of their roles, they can cause just as much damage regaurdless of alignment.

 

but the Silence role and NK are most likely scum aligned. as i'm not caught up yet i can't determine why they'd target Nol (either to shut him up as town or to try and clear him as scum) but Meesh's actions still scream scum for calling attention to it reguardless of what her reason was.

@Red--it makes perfect sense, IMO, if you think about it from the standpoint that I've been gunning for people to believe that BG is scum for a while, and Nol's stepping in and saying "hey, stop now, you guys are wasting our time" set off big pings for me. Pretty sure I discussed this--so, from my point of view, it looked to me that Nolder was avoiding discussing BG for some reason; I was thinking scumbuddies or something along that line. Plus, again, I chat with Nol via MSN, and he's in a couple other games I'm watching/participating in, so seeing him so active there, and knowing he was online, it felt really really really unfair and annoying that he wasn't posting here. I didn't think about anyone else not posting because I don't talk to them elsewhere and I haven't seen them elsewhere. Again, I totally forgot silencer roles exist. The last time I played with one, I finally remembered, was in Ellianora's Locke Lamora game, before we switched to DM8. So yeah. I'd say that's a valid excuse for forgetting--that was ages ago.

 

@Wombat--You Suck. I didn't buddy up to Turin; I was actually being somewhat spiteful to BG. Petty, yes, but meh, whatever. He was like "waaah, I don't trust your summary, Turin, because you didn't quote the posts" and that post was when I went to start quoting them; I was ninja'd as a matter of fact by Turin, but either way, we agreed that BG could just go looking himself instead of making a big deal out of it. Notice that Ishy, too, went back to reread Corrosive's posts rather than asking someone else to repost them for him.

Also, FYI, I've seen scum try to do analysis by summary without quotes before in order to interject their own spin. I didn't accuse Turin of that. I was simply pointing out that I'd trust a summary more if the quotes were there... or linked to for that matter. If I'm on my phone, I'm not going back to find posts, so it's helpful to quote. Meh, I guess if everyone read my posts that way then I did a crap job of making myself clear. I haven't claimed to have an important, helpful role. Just that my death would be a bad thing. One of those "you can keep me alive and ignore me if you want, but killing me to get me out of the way would be really bad" sort of things.

 

Also, I don't think it's weird that people are wondering, no, but I find it interesting that you seem to think it's okay to want to force someone's role claim. If people are wondering that much, the up-front and honest thing to do would be to ask.

This kind of attitude only makes you seem scummier. If you're a townie you'd care enough to at least explain your vote instead of just stating that our reasons of finding your behavior suspicious are wrong and yet not bother explaining because it's 'too late'. I revoted for BG because he still sticks out to me as being guilty. I don't believe his claim. No, I don't have any special information about him that no one else has, if I did I would certainly share it. I don't have any special abilities though. I was looking for someone else to vote for, and wanted to have a vote on someone (I don't like being a non-voter). I'm still suspicious of him. It's not like he's in much danger at this point anyway, everyone's vote is off him. I just want it to stand that I'm suspicious of his claim, I don't believe it. Yeah, Corrosive is one to watch, but at that point, I was not yet convinced of his being mafia, I think he's just overwhelmed and not sure what to say. He hasn't defended himself too well yet, but I don't know. I'm perfectly willing to go after someone else other than BG if something convincing arises.

 

Would you all prefer me to jump on the Corrosive bandwagon?
