I must have missed it if you asked me that. To answer your question though, possibly. It is day one after all and there really isn't anything concrete to go off of. For the moment my instincts, which admittedly have been wrong before, say you're the shadiest at the moment. Of course, being day one and all, it's the light end of shady but it's all I have to go off at the moment.

 

Should something shadier come around my vote will reflect it.

I'm seeing a whole lotta smoke and no fire at the moment. I don't get a feel for Amega either way at the moment, Nolder is pinging as usual and so is SB, but i have never played a game with him before so i going to watch and see what develops before moving to a serious vote.

It was more directed at the fact that you guys are posting useless walls of text quoting every little thing individually while IMO is just a waste of space. I would rather read one well worded paragraph of response than try to wade through the 20 mini quotes and 20 mini responses. It just looks like a bunch of fluff like Ama just said "a lot of smoke with no fire".

 

Everyone wants to get things going on day 1, that is just fine with me, but getting reactions is better than getting walls of text. It's like a competition to see who can be the biggest beast.

just because you're not directly involved in our discussion doesn't mean it's fluff

we are talking about the game and players in the game and each other

the way I reply to things is I take someones post and I break it down

in mafia this usually results in several accusations or statements

I take these accusations separately, quote each one, and respond

 

it's kind of like taking a post and forcing it into bullet points

to me it keeps things more organized for all parties but I understand how it can become intimidating to read if there are say a dozen quotes and each one has merited several paragraphs worth of response

 

personally I find wall of text in paragraph form hardest to read

Ok, nol and SB, I actually have to agree with Adella at least a little bit. Instead of instantly replying to everything, I generally try to wait a little bit to see if someone else posts stuff in between. Not a super long time mind you, but just so there's something else in there a) breaking up all the WoT that tend to happen b) to see someone else's opinion or c) to see if they might bring up something that I hadn't thought of.

 

Not saying to stop playing, of course. And, as Adella also said, to each his or her own.

 

As for the game itself, this back and forth has severely distracted moi lol. I like my vote where it is because it's first day and implying that you're not going to participate is iffy. No matter his words, that's the feeling that was implied imo.

I do want to keep an eye on Jack though. Even if his joke vote is always #11, Amega had a train going and he didn't even comment on it.

 

Pet Peeve: I hate that. First off, voting for a particular roster # is just unnecessary. I give a pass to the first person that did it here, who Jack is just ripping off -- Loki. He always voted #11, even if it was him. Humorous, but unnecessary. Seeing as he was really the only person who did it, we didn't care much. Now everybody seems to have their little 'joke vote' that they always stick to.

Seriously... out of all that, all you have to say is basically you don't like to read a lot, and you find our post formations intimidating? You did know that posts of more than 3-4 sentences would be made in a Mafia game, right?

The reason I posted a bunch of quotes in my posts was because a lot of what I was talking about referred directly other posts that usually went back a page or two. So I put them all in one place so people who have an interest in accuracy wouldn't have to go back and find all the quotes.

 

If you remember everything that has been said than you can skip the quotes and our posts boil down to exactly what you want. A paragraph or two.
