BG it's like this. If Red is scum and someone has the role or character she's alluding to (wouldn't know haven't watched the movie) they can. All her on it and she can say she's just having fun. It's obviously a well known character so they would probably be roled up. And if the scum can get a rolled player in the open while they have a backdoor for a player on their side to slide through. Well that's a bonus and a play scum'd make any day. Red could also be scum and testing the water for a fake claim later down the road. Since no one has spoken up she may assume no one has that role and she can fake claim it later if she has a lot of pressure.

 

So I want a definitive statement before this can snowball into something more. I'll ask again

 

Red, if it's a PR please start your first sentence with a p. Or just tell it straight

@Jack Yeah, but it seems like whatever response is given by Red could be easily used to paint her as scum either way. It seems like a catch-22 that you are trying to push down the gullet. I tried that once... just about got lynched day 1 from it.

Agreed! I'm glad I'm not the only one that thinks so.

 

Regarding PR's - it's true that both scum and Town can have them. What I find odd is that I thought Red was on one (could be, maybe not), but now Min claims to have one. Yet Moon and Wombat, not to mention other players like Player and I think AJ, are nowhere to be found. Can these all be PR's?? I highly doubt it. I'm not sure if this is pinging my scumdar or what, but it's extremely strange...

Maybe she can't. She seemed pretty enthusiastic about this game so I'm atleast not going to vote her on the fact that she's not speaking. But if we need a controlled lynch then I'll vote for her too.

i'm tempted to switch my vote to Moon, but we've got like 72 hrs until the deadline, and she might be silenced. still, i've seen scum silence their team mates, especially when the've been FoSd alot. so i'm not totally convinced.

 

Min will still give us alot more info than Moon, but i'm good with either of those, with Jack drawing up a close 3rd. i just want to make sure we avoid a random lynch.

Sir i'd hand you a shovel, but you seem to big digging rather fine on your own. this is the third and last time i'll state it. whether i might or might not have a PR is of no bearing to hus finding scum. i will not or cannot clarify if this is a PR, myself being fun in my role or a character claim.

 

if your scum, congrads on drawing alot more attention to yourself, if your town then stop doing the scums work for them by focusing on somethinng that isn't impairing us finding scum.

Gonna say one thing though - Jack, have you lost it? You seem singly focused on Red at the moment. Focusing like that is not good in Mafia. You want keep your eyes always open, so that subtle, suspicious posts don't pass you by while you look to throw Red in the lake. For example, you seemed to bypass Min's little PR reveal(whether she is trustworthy of telling the truth here is another story). Maybe you didn't post about it, but would be good to know if you recognised it or not, as currently it looks as if it went over your head.

I agree with Jack here. I questioned Red about it yesterday and she refused to answer. Whether she can't or won't does not matter though. But bringning the topic back up is not proactive towards finding and lynching scum at this point. Red makes a good point that its not important right now, thats why I backed of it. Hopefully in the future she can be more forthcoming about it.

 

The way I see the game right now is, 3 people have not checked in yet today, Moon, Wombat, and Playa. 4 people have had multiple votes on them at one point or another. Min, Moon, Charis and Jack D.

 

I didn't like the Charis vote because it had too much WIFOM on all sides, and came off as townies being vehement.

 

Jack D has been getting votes for pushing Red for a reveal, I myself don't find this scummy because I asked this question yesterday and was firmly set back down. I think Red's "PR" is more of a night phase subject then one for durring the day unless you want to throw a vote on it of course.

 

Moon has the most votes and suspicion but Moon has been absent all day. I am leary to vote for someone who might have been a victim. But there have also been 2 others who have said nothing today. I dont see 3 people being shut out of the game for an entire day, but determining why is impossible. Thats why I can't throw my vote behind a Moon lynch right now. I realize it could be a scum ploy, but it has to many unknowns in it for me.

 

Thats leaves Min as the only person I have a strong suspicion of being Mafia. Vote Min I will move my vote if the group wants to go another way, but right now this is the only vote I feel comfortable with.

Whatever. I'm not focusing on red. Everybody is adding arms and legs to it. I just wanted a simple answer.

 

Red says it's not productive now. I stated that I think it is productive, and will serve the town better later in the game. I gave my reasons. I haven't been pushing hard. Just said what I thought. If you want to see me push I can.

 

That's really one thing that gets under my skin. It's people putting words in my mouth or people just following the trend. If people would have read my posts they'd of found

 

my focus today has been on the JLM night kill and the motivation behind it

 

It has been on possible people behind it

 

It has also been on the possibility of Moon being a newbie scum or a symp

 

It has also been on Charis

 

It ha also been on Red and her post style

 

I don't get where people are twisting everything from. Saying I've just been going for red, I've tunneled in on her. When I haven't. If I'd have tunneled on her, wouldn't my vote be there.

 

If people can't see how Red saying she has a PR, is hinting, or is having fun would matter later on. I could be wrong. I don't think I am.

 

Min is displaying a PR. I just modded a game where scummates gave each other a PR to avoid suspicion. I never mentioned that because it wasn't necessary. We have to big of a field of players rite now to worry about those little WIFOM this early. (see I can get of on tangents but this line of thought isn't that beneficial at this time.)

 

Red answering my question today would have saved a WIFOM. A very big one for the mafia later on in the game but I just don't care anymore.
