Dark visions stalked the land. Creatures from the depths of nightmare sprang forth and were granted dominance over what was once beautiful. Chaos and blood were strewn all about the land.

And the people despaired.

 

Then, when all hope looked to be dead, a young man rose up from amid the downtrodden, destined to become their savior. Their hero. Their King. And so Arthur Pendragon, upon his eighteenth birthday, was out walking among the woods by his father's home, daydreaming about becoming a knight and saving damsels in distress (for there were many of those in that day). Suddenly, much to his surprise, a lake sprang up which had not existed a moment before. A cry was torn from his lips as he saw a fantastic sight: a woman of unearthly beauty was rising from the water. He knew her to be faery, for none in this mortal realm could match the beauty of such an exquisite creature.

Then she spoke.

 

Arthur, son of Uther Pendragon, harken to me. There has been a crown of glory that has been destined for your head. You, Arthur, have been chosen to liberate the land from the darkness that has enshrouded it. I have come here today to give you aid. Behold the sword Excalibur! This sword is unbreakable and will give you strength to overcome your enemies wherever you may be......

But with this gift comes a price. You must begin a Holy Quest, a quest to seek the Holy Grail. For without this Grail, the land shall surely be destroyed. This is your Quest Arthur, to seek the Holy Grail.

RULES

1. No editing posts

2. This is a hammer game. Once the hammer falls, there's no take-backs.

3. Mod is God, but if you feel like something has been unfairly decided or biased, send me a PM and we'll talk it out.

4. Please remain active throughout the game. It's no fun for me or the other players. Think of this as a binding contract in which you promise to stay active. If you break it, I will Krak down on you...hard!

5. I've never been a stickler for reveals, so feel free to reveal whatever you want to about your role or alignment. Any revealing of teammates will have violent ramifications.

6. There can be up to two No-Lynches for the entire game. Otherwise, a lynch must be achieved or a random modkill will occur.

7. Days will last as long as necessary for a lynch (unless I decide things are moving too slowly) and nights will end after 36 hours.

8. You may only communicate off-thread in a QT provided in your role PM. You may not communicate with anyone else, or in any other way, about the game. If you have concerns about another player, come to me with those concerns, and I will address them.

 

Do not quote any communication from me in the game. Do not quote anything from your role PM. If you're unsure what you can say, talk to me first.

 

9. Votes must be bolded and colored red

10. If you need a LoA, inform me and we will work something out. You must inform me if you will be absent for 2 or more days.

11. You must make one content related post a day. To do otherwise will end with The Governator repeatedly punching you in the balls and/or boob.
