Wes gave me the chance to have somebody learn which candidate I was and vouch for me... I chose Pete... just in time for him to die.

Sorry guys.  I pushed for the wrong candidate.  Guess I got carried away by my own theories.

 

Also sorry to Pete, if I was supposed to use the black bonestone in conjunction with his.  My choice was a 50/50 between revealing the mafia candidate and bringing ruin to the Hall.  I chose to not chance it, and to hope that we could figure it out on our own.  But in the end, Barm and I were the only people talking.  :(

To be honest it was Barm and you doing the talking that made me vote for Barm.  I didn't seriously think about the story; instead it was old fashioned mafia reasoning.  I was left with the impression that Barm was doing more talking and, hence, more town-like.  I felt Talya was laying back and only doing a couple of posts trying not to look suspicious.  Plus, I flipped a Canadian penny on random.org and it agreed with Barm.  ;)

 

It so often seems that if you talk you get seen as suspicious.  Maybe from now on I'll only vote for quiet people.  That won't be for a while I am in serious need of a break.  I think I've been playing for about 16 months without a break of more than a week or 2.

In hindsight, what you're saying makes perfect sense.

 

But at the time, I had all these nice theories that I wanted to be true.  And I was getting this ... well ... politician vibe from Barm.  I always distrust politicans.  :D 

 

Towards the end, I got this sneaking suspicion that I could be wrong.  I was hoping that people would speak up and I could cross check their previous actions with their opinions, but no one really did.  So I went with my original instinct, which turned out to be wrong.

All of you are so welcome! Everybody knows I love to write & mod, so really it is me thanking everybody elsefor giving me a chance to do it!

 

And, to answer your question, no. Everybody had an alignment at the beginning of the game, and if they were town but voted for mafia, they lost. The only winners were the original mafia team ( all of whom died!) and Talya because she was converted as soon as she became the Beva candidate.

 

I think I said it before, but I really, really loved watching many of you logic things out, wifom, and really play.

 

Last, It will be a while, but don't be surprised to see The Minister return...heh.
