And Barm what if Wes, made Talya town because he thought we would think she was mafia, but by him thinking that he probably deduced that we would figure he would make her town because we suspect her being mafia so he kept her mafia just to throw us off.

 

And my number 11 vote is just to get things rolling and then I usually switch it to someone I would rather see lynched, like for instance [glow=red,2,300]unvote[/glow] and vote [glow=red,2,300]barm[/glow]

It can be quite subtle. I've had success with it with people not cluing in that I've done it to them before.

For those of you who have rarely played mafia with me before... I hate meta-gaming. Hatehatehate! So yes, blatent mockery of meta-gaming right there.

 

Also, on that note, that is almost exactly how Kivam started his Gambit so long ago, in fact, here's the quote:

My second thought is that, watching the games, I've noticed a little bit of a pattern:

 

Whoever modded the last game tends to be evil in the next one. (I also noticed that people are rarely evil twice in a row, but none of our evils from last game are in this one, so that insight is useless) And since Talya modded the last game on Fiddles, she goes right to the top of my list.

 

Throw in the fact that she showed up right after a vote for Jason but didn't actually do anything (not that I mind the cookies - these are kosher, right?) . . . and, well, that makes it an easier choice in my mind. The most important thing we can do on day 1 - when we have basically no information -is lynch somebody who gives us info. The more information we get, the easier it is for us to find the evils. And if we lynch Talya, and she's guilty, her inactivity in response to your vote will give us another reason to think Jason is guilty (i.e. we get two for the price of 1, the way we did with Sirayn and Zylazlo in the Fiddles game).

 

On the other hand, if Talya's innocent, Jason looks a little less suspicious (though not much less, b/c if Talya is innocent then she has no idea what Jason is, so he might actually be guilty anyway, but it would leave us with only the "it would be a fun thing for a mod to do" rationale for believing he's evil).

 

Anyway, my fingers hurt from typing, and I guess what I'm trying to say is lets lynch Talya
