Invitation to all! Kin's Birthday Tea Party!

Welcome Kinsters and Friends!

Thank you for joining in the celebration of another Birthday for the Kin Org.

This year, we've prepared a wonderful tea party to celebrate. Make sure that you have dressed for the occation and are ready to sample and share. Here we can share our favorite teas, finger foods and most importantly our memories of the Kin. Please post a picture of the tea cup you will be using for the party as well.

 

So without further ado, I declare the party started!

Here are a few of the treats that have been set out for you to enjoy:

Scones with lemon curd, tea sandwiches and various petite desserts!

ooo, I have a orange spice tea that would be very good in your rum  ;)

 

So, dicussions. What is your favorite type of tea?

Personally, I love Lavender Earl Grey; it's a perfect combination.

I also like christmas flavors though in the winter.

I DO tend to snuggle up with some "Constant Comment" on occasion  ::) .. not surprisingly ;D

I'm afraid its the Southern girl in me, but I just don't like tea unless it's iced and sweet.  ;)

I'm about the same, Kelly. Sun brewed sweet tea is the best around.

 

Although mothers milk tea is good, too. Kinda mapley.

Irish Breakfast for me, please.  Good, black tea, that's the ticket.  :)

I have had some chamomile tea that tasted pretty good once... has to be sweet though.  :D

Southern Sweet Tea (and if you're mean to me, I'll start a scientific discussion about supersaturation to explain how to properly make southern sweet tea...) is my favorite.

 

When it comes to hot tea, Celestial Seasonings has one called "Tension Tamer" that is my favorite. I like echineca tea, too, especially when I don't feel well. :)

Add sugar to water till the water can't hold no more, then add that to the tea?
