Len was a bit hard in that game but he apologised and said he'd come in with a different site attitude and once he'd set the tone he couldn't really change it cos he was mafia.

So, just because you don't like how someone plays, that doesn't mean they are a bad guy. You've got to learn and look at what they actually do, and how that affects the game.

 

And apparently all this is quite tame compared to other sites anyways.

I'm not sure who it was, but someone once told me I should not let others dictate to me how to play. DPR's tone and actions are mafia through and through. Maybe I'm wrong, true. But I got to trust myself or what is the point of playing, to let you have two votes?

Personally I would say at this point Ithi should be the second train. Rand comes over as an overstimulated townie to me. An easy target for a miselimination. 

 

But as I'm just getting more and more convinced

It was not clear at all. Hence you asking the mod, and then my asking you for more details. 
 

it’s the part about it being random that caught my eye. Heavy says it like it’s fact, and he does it before Darthe explained it, also saying it was random.

What? How are those two things exclusive to each other? Like I can't think Rand acted scummy at EoD AND believe there was a fishy reason for N1 activities?

 

DPR is singing Bridge Over Troubled Waters and I'm singing Highway to Hall...literally everything I have said since Day 2 began is of content.  Just because you don't agree with them doesn't mean they aren't valid.

Yes because you are focusing on one part of DPR’S post.  Merely that roleblocking the cop would lead us to lynch him.  There were other things including no NK.

 

But on a side note, thank you for quoting that post by DPR where he goes on to ask why they would waste a shot on Dice when they have him roleblocked.  It's actually something that he argues is muddying the waters for suggesting it.  

 

I'll go quote it as soon as I'm done catching up and getting what Zander asked for.  

 

And also, ftr, DPR now saying Dice is mafia cause they would've strongarmed him is EXACTLY what I have been saying. ALL things considered, people are side eyeing Dice.

You are absolutely correct to play your own game and you should vote for the player you think is a wolf. That’s the game. 
 

Because you’re voting me, I will say that you seem to be relying mostly on tone (your words) and actions, but the actions you’ve mentioned are more tone oriented, no? 
 

Anyway, for future games, less emotion and more factual analysis will serve you well.

Mods don't generally put stuff in PMs that give an advantage and if he was the cop and got a no result then that would generally mean his action had been blocked. I don't think I'd ever worry about getting killed for giving a no result result.

 

But a Mafia wouldn't waste a fake claim cop with a garbage no result? Or would they because then they wouldn't have to give a name out.

Like concentrating on players that misrep other unto death? My case is hardly solely based tone, it is based on how seamlessly your tone dovetails with your actions. As I say, I'm as convinced as I think I'll ever be. Which doesn't mean all it takes is one post to make me rethink everything - but that uncertainty just throws even more into focus your certainty that you know which players are making sense, which are being Wolfy, that you know exactly what went down at night, etc. It is all part of the feeling I'm getting from you.

Where I'm at currently off the cuff. Hopefully I don't miss anyone. 

 

Dice( town): claimed cop. No cc. Easiest solution is he's the cop.

 

Turin (town): no discussion allowed

 

Nyn(likely town): this is a slight downgrade from yesterday.  There were a few things that seemed off. Mostly agree that she has been active and present. 

 

Key (town lean): Most of my tinfoil on Key is the way other people I'm suspicious of (Rand and Verb mostly) have treated her and her them to an extent. If she's mafia she's the deep wolf. I have bigger fish to fry at the moment. 

 

Ithi (dunno): I had her town yesterday and on my reread of today I saw a couple of very TOWN!!ithi posts. Recent ones are giving some doubt. Although maybe I'm not seeing something in game she is???

 

Heavy (dunno): He has made some very insightful posts lately. His start was awful. I definitely see a world in which he is town.

 

Ed (dunno): He has posted more thoughts today and seemed more involved. I have trouble with his style but I need to work through that. He still has some 3p equity so his improvement could be self preservation. 

 

Zanlo/Lender???(3p lean): exclusively due to Lenlo activity yesterday. He chose imo an easy target and parked there all day. He also was around until he wasn't at EoD and didn't see him check out, he just kinda ghosted. 

 

Tigraine (3p lean): posting today has been better. I completely disagree about the take that Rand's EoD makes him mafia(his trying to take extra credit for it does look bad imo). Willing  to see what happens from here.

 

Verb (mafia lean): He moves up simply because I'm not sure I see him as DPR'S teammate. I still think he has enough mafia equity to be down here. The misrep on me shows a willingness to just say anything and his laugh off of valid points screams mafia trying to use clout to brush things off.

 

DPR (mafia): This entire day has been nothing but attempts to direct about what happened last night. Also, attempts push against the claimed cop. I thought he was setting up to come out with a cc and a red.peek on Rand. Didn't happen but still kinda softing it in what I have to guess is an attempt to rile us up into lynching the cop and then he will say "I didn't  do nuffin'". If the above was true, get on with it. 2 out of 3 mafias caught and you are a hero. 

 

Rand (mafia): His battle with DPR feels fake and superficial. He voted DPR,  but when traction started coming he cautioned going too fast. He has also since made a post or two where I felt he was trying to "evolve" his read there so he could conveniently move to someone else.

Im not pushing an agenda lol, I’m calling you a false claimer. That’s as straight forward as it gets. 
 

Man, I haven’t even mentioned meta yet because I’ve tried to present posts and logic, but imo there is no world where towndice cop comes back after night and tap dances through an infomercial of raisins before claiming no result. 
 

Towndice would post once as soon as night was over - it would sound a lot like “I got no result. If you don’t like it, I don’t care.”

Also, it makes the most sense. He has to be able to explain he is alive since mafia could.have killed him. Town can't block the Strongman (unless Dice is really the Hider, lol). Him being RB'd helps explain his not deadedness.

 

Also, if he viewed a mafia as town, he would be proven wrong. Might be a clever ploy to view the GF though.

Turin - I can’t read you at all lol

Verb - I lean town, but mostly because I skibidilove him. 
Heavy - he’s got condemner equity but his play seems genuine enough

Tigs - sometimes confusing posts but active

 

The Wolves: 

 

dice - I’ve said what I’ve said

Rand - superweird. Overzealous GF imo
ed - On a different planet. I don’t get his play at all.
