Honestly, it could be about that easy.  Wildfire is the only player that's been fairly active in the thread that I have concerns about.  Kat"s obviously a villager, I'm pretty confident you and Tripped are, and I think Marsh and Dice have both been at least fairly townie throughout.

 

I don't have any real separation between Nyn, Hallia, and AJ.   I think trying to resolve him at this point is probably stupid, but I'd almost certainly throw the deity to one of those two right now from a strategy standpoint - either would be a lot tougher to lynch than the other three, since ~most of the thread is okay moving in the BFG/Illian/Wifi direction.

There is a tiny little niggling that says Dice might be mafia if Wifi is.  I don't remember how he typically engages his teammates - the only "recent" game I remember he was scum in was AJ's multicop game where he was mafia with Iron and Gentled Ben was the traitor.  Iron was pretty townread so I doubt Dice did much to disrupt that.

 

I think @BFG was the only other person in that game with us? 

 

I DON'T think mafia!Dice comes in and whiteknights town!Wifi right off the bat over literally nothing, then proceeds to poke Zander about it multiple times.  His posts about her seem like he genuinely doesn't want to see her lynched.

@dicetosser1 are you still firm town on her? I know she's a very independent thinker and often takes a lot of routes that I struggle to follow (again... no idea why thinks I read her well. I'm not sure I've ever read her correctly in a game without it being associative)... but after everything I've said about tripped this game and the situation of the vote, she thinks that its possible we're aligned and that was me attempting to bus? 

 

The thing about you potentially being scum also confuses me.  I'll double down on what I said about whiteknighting, but beyond that, the IC was always going to be announced.  

 

How exactly was that going to work? You'd be counterclaims by the mod.

Okay, I can go with this.  I think I have to stop Micromanaging the little things and try to understand the big things.  ? I am terrible at the nuances of speech.  ? IE finding the meanings behind the paragraphs.  I always think that its the little things that are the tell.  The little slip (typo) here or there... Wordvomiting...writing what just comes to your head as fast as you can without thining about it adn just letting it folow without rereading it to cheack for typos or mind slips.  <<<<----see what I mean.

Using dice's form of enhancing (wrong word but I can't think of right word at tpit)  .  

 

What I was saying was I think that he did the "I" thing before we were told that the IC was going to be announced.  Because for a while it seemed like all of us believed that the IC wasn't going to be announced.  I didn't think it was going to be announced at all.  I was in two games, 1 sub and 1 from beginning, with IC, and they were both announced but I never understood why.  So, I just figured it wasn't going to be announced this game, until darthe announced that it was going to be.

As for Chris and me, we know each other really well so that's probably where the "comfort" feeling between us is coming from. 

 

On one hand I like that you're sharing your reads and what not, on the other hand it doesn't seem like you're making much of an effort to actually resolve anyone.  I realize that none of your null reads are posting much, but you have scum reads on pretty much the most active players in this game so far and i don't think you've done much to sort their alignments, especially given you have more scum reads than there are scum in the game.  It could just be playstyle difference. 

 

I think you commented a few days ago that you were unhappy that people weren't making an effort to interact with you, but rather, they were just talking about you.  But that's a two way street, and I don't think you've done a whole lot to instigate interactions with others either.  You've mostly just been responding to people when they ask you for something.

 

Maybe someone who has played with WiFi a little more can chime in.  Is this behavior normal?  Is she usually this passive?

 

I am going to reread the thread a few times to get a better feel for my reads so it may be a few hours before I answer this post....or all of it.  I will answer the bolded stuff now though:

I usually don't do "teams with."  I will make scum reads but not the so and so and so. The only reason I put you, clov, and zan together were you all seemed to have the same reads and seemed so comfortable together.  I think IIRC that this is the first time I ever TEAMED anyone of my own accord.  For example, you just asked me who is teamed with nyn but you didn't give me any possibilities ie is nyn teamed with bfg/IT OR tor/zan.  *Just picked those out of my head w/ raisins*  oh you want to eat the raisins ? well bfg/IT are the ones most thought scum by others and zan is my gut scum and tor is the clov want to lynch person and he's started to push at me so I am thinking maybe he be town...maybe....I got to not be so suspicious.  ? 

 

My problem is I have been burned so many times that its hard for me to trust anymore.  Like I will feel really good about clov or aj or dice and they will be scum.  I guess my problem is I am trying to solve the whole game in like a day.  And it just doesn't work.  Well last game I did really good.  This game: not so good.

 

I don't know what to say 99% of the time.  It's hard for me to come up with stuff to talk about and it takes me a while to read the thread and to type what is in my mind without it coming out like vomit.  Also, by they time I come up with something someone has already said it and I don't want it to look like I am copying so I just erase it and be quiet.

I'd throw Hallia in there as an option.  This feels a lot more like Cory's game where she was scum than the MU game where she was town.

I guess I can kind of understand this.  I mean, the whole point of an IC is that they are mod confirmed as town.  But, if you thought he was hinting at IC, but didn't understand what an IC was or why it was announced...why would you think he was hinting at the time?

 

I mean, I agree that he did post the I thing before Darthe said he'd confirm the the IC, but...idk.  I'm a little confused on your thought process here.

Of course I didn't give you examples.  I wanted to see if you had any thoughts on the matter of your own since it seemed like you were thinking about teams.

 

Chris doesn't actually want to lynch me.  But the fact that you're not seeing/understanding that is...something.  You were scum reading Chris, and town reading me...but somehow your scum read voting for you town read is fine?  because from where i'm sitting, you literally flipped your read on me BECAUSE Chris voted for me.

It's a team game.  You don't have to solve the whole game by yourself on D1.  No one expects that.  But it really helps when everyone contributes to the game in a positive, meaningful way.  If everyone sits back and waits for other people to contribute and do things, then there is little incentive for anyone to do anything, and scum can either sit back while town does nothing, or they can step in, take control of the thread and lead town around by the nose.

I don't, and I feel that should be obvious to most people, but I can see a universe where maybe the joke went over her head?  And she's probably fine with most people getting lynched that aren't her.  I think her only true stated townread was Iron.

Yeah.  I mean, obviously you and Nyn have both posted a bit, but nothing sticks out to me as "this is probably mafia!Hallia" or "Eh, Nyn's probably town this game".  I could see your reads coming from either alignment, and I don't even remember if Nyn has GIVEN reads so far.  But at least I know you two are going to post and offer content, so if either of you DO get cleared from the deity, it's not going to be wasted.  The only way giving to AJ would be helpful is if he's mafia - clearing him as town wouldn't mean anything for advancing the game.

 

Compare to that Illian and BFG, who have both been mostly absent, but there are actual issues with the content they have posted that makes me skeptical.

Her response was after you said this though. I get where she might not get the joke.  I'm even fine with her saying it was for SP.  The rest of it I take issue with.  The thought process doesn't make sense to me.

It feels like this game should be real easy or its like a clov/tripped type team and were in trouble.   If only a couple of the quieter spots that are actually Town based on odds would make this game so much clearer.

 

Like BFG, Nyn and Hallia, havent looked bad at all but activity gives me issues and i know rl stuff and i get it 100% but just using you guys as an example. AJs slots vacant.  So theres like 1/3 of the game thats much harder to read than it should be.

Im not lynching her. and the bit about you bussing doesnt surprise me coming from her. she doesnt seem to get humor like that.

heres the thing   ive paid almost no attention to the way the deity works.  i remember it gets passed and if it goes to mafia they die and the deity no longer exists.

Thats it.  I never made the ic connection actually.

if i was scum SOMEONE would have mentioned it/told me  unless the team is exactly me wifi and aj   which it is not.

 

plus mer and hints are unmixy things.  i suck at them.

theres the key. wifi does NOT come at the game in a common way.  her thinking her wording comes from like a 72 degree angle.
if she ever DOES come from/sound like a normal viewpoint im instalynching her cause shes getting coached.
